Anyone else notice a subtle change in the unis.. This video, and the McKeever visit photo. No stripe(s) around the waist. If true, looks better IMHO.
Might just be an untucked jersey. Hard to tell.

These were off-the-rack Nike unis this year. Several teams around the country were wearing them, in different color combinations. I’m open to a few tweaks, but I really liked the simple, classic look of these. It’s when you try to get “creative” with your uniform that you most often go off the rails.

Such an impressive nucleus of young talent on the team next year — Coleman, Sage, Coon, Harris, Koch, Thompson, Jirak … all sophomores or younger.
Yeah I was just thinking that next year's team looks to be young but talented. There will still be some experience with Combs, Manyawu etc. If McKeever commits, looks like he will be a junior.

Yep. Howard and McKeever would be juniors. Manyawu and Combs would be seniors. If Banks gets the waiver would he be a junior or a senior? Would they wipe off both of his juco years or just one?

I'm looking forward to seeing how our current 7 footer, Jirak, develops.

He was a guard and handled the ball a lot before the growth spurts.

Not sure on Banks.. I'd like to know what's going to happen there, but wouldn't we all?

So there should still be enough experience on the team without having to totally lean on the younger guys.

As a reminder.. BJ, Roy and Ed all played big roles on that 86-87 team as sophomores, with Gamble and Lohaus being the seniors. Not saying they win 30 next year, but let's just say I feel pretty good about next season. Especially if Ben gets McKeever.

And this will be Cooper's third year in college...hoping he has a breakout season.

Nice arc on his 3pt shot. Looks like a shooter with those shots, and then you see him driving with the ball too.
I would say the 70% FT's is more indicative of his stroke, at this point, than the 41% from 3.

The release is a little low, so his competitiveness, and ability to make winning plays, is probably what has him above 40% from 3, at this point.

But his arc, as you mention, and his 2pt % suggest a nice touch on his shot. So, I think there's some upside to be developed there, as a shooter.

Coleman has plenty of quickness and handles. Also has a PG's skill set. Better than 2 assists per game suggests. Can get into the lane and make plays.

Plenty to work with. So the fact that Ben has recruited Ty'Reek twice, suggests he has the mentality to allow his quickness to translate to good D, and good playmaking and decision-making

So glad to read that Iowa is the frontrunner for McKeever. I live a few minutes away from his school. He will be a massive get for us. I don’t know how he’s going to do with the weather though. :)
I’m loving this offseason.

Yeah, he's from California and he's spent his entire life on the West Coast.
