If there are no commitments by Wednesday, Pope is likely cooked. Why? Because they will have heard Kentucky's best spiel at that point. You can't let these dudes get off campus without a commitment.

If we add Diallo to that group, I'd say:
4/4: Incredible haul. Possibly career-saving.
3/4: Still really really good.
2/4: Acceptable but still need some more studs from the portal or overseas to flesh out the roster
1/4: Massive flop.
0/4: Nightmare scenario. Pope is essentially done here, and the chances of fielding a good team at that point are nil

I want there to be quick answers. I want it to be like it use to be. The good old days, when the name on the front, the coach, and the facilities sold a kid and his family on a commitment. But there's agents and cash money now. There are bidding wars.

My take is if pope somehow gets every player he wants he will still lose 10 plus games next year. I think that is what UKBB4ever is getting at as well. He just doesn’t have what it takes to succeed at a high level which is what this job requires.
