You could feel all the momentum move to Clemson’s side after those crappy at bats and then the Nicholson play. If the Heels lose this game that inning will be what did it. You can’t execute any worse.
You just don’t see teams win very many games where the first 4 innings go like these 4 have gone for UNC. Our team has proven we can put our heads down and keep playing, but good grief, can’t squander so many chances in a tough road series. This ain’t Cal or Notre Dame.

After Hull’s infield single, the idea that we’d be trailing 6 batters later was almost inconceivable. Just a terrible sequence in all aspects of the game.

Not sure if it's the environment here in Doug Kingsmore or what but this team hasn't looked at all comfortable since pitch one yesterday.

Only real road environment we’ve been in all year besides the Jungle. And we just jumped on ECU early in that one. Much different level of challenge than Cal or Notre Dame.

I live down here in South Carolina Tommy. I’m listening to it on the Clemson radio station. What’s amazing to me is how the Clemson announcers were talking about how much they were squeezing Lynch early in the game.
I still don’t understand why Gavin swung at that. He knows better.
Nothing irrationally tilts me more than an announcer saying a team “had a hit and run on” with 2 strikes.
