Well he did HIT eight 3s in one tournament game. Not his fault Cal couldn’t coach. Had the best big man in the country and we shot over 30 3s against WVU.
EDIT: Those eight 3s were a school record. So….
They would be a great combo to run Popes offense. - they easily replace OO & Aberdeen in scoring + better at distribution & getting the ball to MM. - Kam - Hawthorne .
Now go get a replacement for Jelly & Mo.

how did Kobe Brea work out in the tournament? Reed and Rob? sometimes people have bad shooting games and in the tournament that tends to lead to a loss
You aren't kidding Cousins was damn near unstoppable down low. He made the same mistake in 2015 when he quit going to KAT too.

That AND we only shot FIVE 3s against Wisconsin, with two of those coming in final minute. Needed to soften up the defense and hit some outside shots. That never happened because we didn’t take any. He’s a bum.

That’s why we got cooked in the E8, I’m hoping Pope doesn’t let them fire away if they both come. That said, he hasn’t proved he can run an offense well without shooting so it’s a rock and a hard place. We need players of that caliber on the roster though.
Both are issues to be fair. We need the players but coaching is a major problem and we don’t even have a full staff now.
