Which teams would you like to see on next year's schedule?
I assume that Oklahoma coming to PSU this year equals a return trip there next year, but we'll see. Wyoming is off the schedule now with that home-and-home complete, opening up a new possible series arrangement with a team out west. Utah Valley would be fun, probably, as would Stanford.

If given a choice, though, a home-and-home with Virginia Tech would be fun.

I was thinking that Drexel might be a 2 for 1 deal. Starting a VATech and/or a Stanford series would be good. OkSt would be cool, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon.

I don’t know if the logistics could work, but if we’re in Norman and OSU is off the table, how about Little Rock?

THIS!!!!! And if it happens, you're all invited for cocktails at my place in Big Lex!!!!

(Note that this could easily be worked up to a weekend, either with a slightly more northern patsy (VMI, UVA), to another slightly more southern opponent (UNC, NCSt, App State, Campbell).)

Cornell would be interesting, but hard to see this being scheduled, would need to happen at Journeymen.

I like when larger programs "grow the sport" by wrestling at smaller programs so I'ld love to see Penn State at The Citadel or Presbyterian or Gardner-Webb. Make having season tickets a requirement to get Penn State tickets and those schools all sell out their season tickets in an hour.

when do we have to start defending the schedule? How soon will accusations of padding the schedule and skipping the national duals event - (cause of the elite OK state presence with their killer soph's) - to keep the win streak alive come out?

A dual between us and the highest ranked non PSU guy in the nation at each weight. A prelude to nationals. Or us vs. the Japanese national team, the Russian national team and the Iranian national team. Yeah I know they don't wrestle folkstyle but still it's about trying to find competition and right now there isn't a team in the U.S. that can challenge us.

The issue is most programs like that are overmatched big time and losing all 10 matches in a dual is a bad look no matter who the opponent is. Also the risk of injury goes up when you're so overmatched

That's already happened some . But people don't understand the difficulties of making the schedule

Never.

Defending the schedule is a fool's errand. It will never be tough enough for the critics. Or for the fans who aren't satisfied with merely dominating the national championship.

I would like to see a west coast trip where we either wrestle USC and UCLA, or Wahington and Oregon.

Just wishing.

In a more real wish, either VATech or Okie St.

You don't get to just make up things like the injury thing. The only wrestler who had a serious injury and missed time after wrestling Penn State was Angelo Ferrari. Are you saying that he was overmatched?

A wrestler is much less likely to be injured in a 2 min TF than an OT match.

A SoCon school would take losing 10-0 to Penn State at home if it meant selling out their season tickets.

Does anyone know how far out OOC duals are scheduled? Football stuff is sometimes 6+ years in advance. I'd like to dual Stanford yearly. Cornell would be fun. Like helping out teams like Wyoming and oregon state. Wouldn't mind utah valley either.

It's my opinion I never said it was a fact therefore it's not made up. Have you ever talked to anyone on Penn st staff about scheduling? Because I have and understand the struggles they have

You pull something out of your *** that is demonstrably wrong then try brag that you have all these contacts. Maybe they can coach you up to not be so incorrect all the time. You do need help on that.

And, No, I don't talk to Penn State's staff as I'm not a Penn State fan.

Not bragging at all. If I actually cared about that sh*t I would be on social media saying it. I'm on a forum with the same 50 people.
It's an opinion sorry you can't follow along get a reading comprehension coach
