JQ was not a key player. He barely suited up. Kam Williams did. And we just got boatraced by a team missing their star player.

They were trying to play a role that was too much for them. Collin Chandler is not a "lead" type player. He is a 6th or 7th man type player. Aberdeen is not a PG. Moreno was forced into minutes he wasn't ready for. Pope and company was dumb enogh to think that JQ would be totally healed and able to play this year. It takes bigs longer to heal fromt eh ACL than most. Oweh was Oweh. Jelivic isn't ready for this level yet either.

I say keep Kam and Hawthorn and rebuild completely. Kam should have played way more minutes than Pope gave him with this roster.

Mo as a energy and toughness guy on a team who is much improved shooting at other positions would be ideal. But other than that peace out. Half the roster isn't good enough to be at UK bench is making loads to.be horrible.
I would be elated if malichai announced he would transfer tomorrow, the absolute worst uncoordinated weakest guy that big I've ever seen.

If what you say is true about JJ, and I have no reason to doubt you, add in how the assistant coach had one foot out the door all season, it is no wonder this season went the way it did.
I would tell my parents that they have their kids for 22 hours a day while I get them for 2 hours. If all they hear is negative crap like, "coach don't know that he is doing, "coach should be playing you more" , crap like this will have players not listening to their coaches but just hearing them.
If true, Pope should have shown him the door long before now.

I actually think we pretty much start from scratch next year.............terrible.
I want as many back as possible. Run them guys and hit the gym. Learn to play team basketball. Work on mechanics of their jump shots. Add some guards that can shoot better and is skilled
I'm guessing we get one of Jelavic or Dioubate back, and I'm starting to get the feeling Lowe is gone, maybe not by his choice.
