How could it be anything but an F? UK is about to finish 22-14.

Realistically, prolly closer to a D I guess. Missing tourney would’ve been worst case and an F.
Still, UK coaches, esp second year coaches who have done **** shouldn’t be allowed any D seasons. He gets another evidently, but it should be do or die next year.

Had to play on Wednesday and didn’t make the semifinals of the SEC tournament. Finished 9th in the regular season.
Needed a miracle shot to beat Santa Clara or Pope would have went winless in the tournament again.
Took the 2nd worst tournament loss in program history to a team without their best player.
Absolute failure of a season. No doubt

I’ve come around to not being so bent out of shape over the 2021 season. With that in mind, this is the worst season since the Sutton catastrophe in 89.

Pretty good summary of the season right there. I feel really sick about this season and now understand how it feels to be an Indiana fan, how sad if that?
I will go D. It's below average. But many aspects of it were an F. Pope is an F coach thus far.
Last decade has been a friggin F-. This shitshow we watched this season better be the low point. I, like a lot of fans, am at a crossroads. I won’t settle for mediocrity. No excuse for this damn pitiful collection of athletes. I don’t care if a single one of these losers comes back. I really don’t think any of them are deserving. It’s going to take a massive turnaround for me to ever climb back of this bandwagon of losers. Geezus H Christ, who hired this bum? Who put together this pitiful group that has no heart, no pride. I’ve never witnessed such a pitiful basketball season as this one.

D+. It would have been an F- if not for Oweh, Aberdeen, MoD, and Moreno saving our asses in multiple games. A sweep over Tennessee, beating up Vandy in Rupp Arena, beating Cal and Arky right there on their home court and beating Pitino and St. John's pushes this season from an F- to D+. Pope's sorry *** needs to thank Oweh and Moreno for his 46-26 record. His bum *** would be sitting at 42-30 if not for Oweh saving us twice vs. Oklahoma last year and vs. Santa Clara this year and Moreno saving us at LSU. 2 crazy comeback wins vs. Tennessee this year as well. Pope could potentionally be 40-32 if not for those buzzer beaters and crazy comebacks. Even 46-26 is still terrible but it could and probably should be even worse. Pope needs to go ASAP.

Either way, not an acceptable grade for being the head coach at Kentucky. Not playing in the second weekend is becoming FAR too common since 2020 and it's casting us into irrelevancy.

It's an F because it's not just about wins and losses for this season. It's about vibes and the momentum going forward with the head coach/leadership. All that good grace was completely shattered in 1 year. That gets an F.
An F is missing the tournament. We made the tournament and won a game, we got a few good wins through the season (we beat 3, could be 4 of the sweet 16 teams). So that elevates the season to a D. But with 14 total losses, multiple noncompetitive games, bottom half of SEC, out in the SEC quarterfinal, and *** beat by a team without their best player to end the season, it can't be any higher than a D.
