***** Kentucky vs Iowa State Game Thread *****

[MidseasonTweak]

Jasper Johnson is putrid garbage

[CoffeeCat]

that wasn't even a foul, he went for the ball

You need new glasses

[Kyfan27]

Jasper...

[Pygmy Sasquatch]

Actually , it was "Hold my milk!"

No, it was "Hold my purse"

[Catfan in Tn.]

31-15 2nd half. Ouch.

[Drogon]

[Shaudylo]

That Jasper turnover sums up this game

Sums up his season

[FatCatMan]

20 pt game, b*tches!

[four_every_hour]

With a new AD coming in we are not going to get a new coach. I imagine next year will be Pope's last year unless he wins SECT and gets a Final Four. We all know that's just not going to happen. So I'm just going to strap in and wait to see what happens. I think I'll focus more on who is the best candidate next year instead of Kentucky basketball. I say we write a blank check to Dusty May first. If he turns us down, go for Todd Golden

[Noxium3222]

I'm feeling good about all this, I'm so hyped for next year. Jasper is gonna be great.

[Eagles_Ball_69]

We are getting blown out, but if I were Pope(hard to do because I have a sack), I would tell our kids to play ******* rugby on defense like they are and the refs would have to double tech me and send me to the locker room when they didn't call it both ways

Difference between you and Pope…you said it…you have a sack. Dude is soft, in his feels 24/7, and has zero business in the position he’s in. Yet here we are.

[JSquad0070]

How was Jasper a 5*

[Zuma75]

what are the odds Dr Capilouto is even watching this

Help us Obi-Wan Capiliuto - you’re our only hope!

hire a new AD who will hire us a real coach

[CUJO_1970]

Mark Pope needs to voluntarily remove himself from ever coaching Kentucky basketball again.

[TheWyldKat_rivals45219]

they didn't make any adjustments, we were just getting lucky at the start of the game

They most certainly made adjustments. They started doing full court pressure and trapping.

Pope on the other hand yes made zero adjustments

[HenryMuto]

Aberdeen did pretty good most of the year as the PG but today was a day we had to have a true PG that could handle the pressure

[kyjeff1]

WTF, he put JJ back in? Of course, he immediately turns it over and Mark stands there clapping.

[RoyKent]

More turnovers than made baskets

[KyLegacyBBN]

embarrassing

[philstat]

Well, can cancel my Final Four plans for the year…

[JakeKx]

70-47

[FreedomWallace]

Holy ****!!! Johnson!!! And Popes only response is to simply clap his hands on sideline

[Big BlueBeard]

We have legit Mid Major vibes.

[MidseasonTweak]

New AD has no reason to keep Pope. Make a splash hire.

[wccat]

Don't worry. Look at the dudes we have coming in next year!

[FatCatMan]

If UK had UNC’s AD… Or any other AD for that matter.

Funny thing is UNC’s AD is pretty incompetent as well. Look at their disaster of a football program. Yet somehow Mitch is worse!

[CELTICAT]

I’m sure it’s happened but I don’t remember ever in my life being down 23 in a NCAAT game.

[dckala2_]

Kentuckys coach needs more fire. And im surprised at how much standing there was on offense.

It will be easier for the next coach to follow pope instead of cal.

[Bugs092056]

A complete *** whipping. Pope needs to be Gillispie'd

[Drogon]

Nice shot you ******* bum

[Eagles_Ball_69]

Clappy the Clown 2.0. We really ARE Indiana.

Thanks, Mitch

Lotta truth to this

[darkshadesofblue]

They’re fatigued guys

[pattyice270]

I wont ever wish kentucky to lose, I dont know i dont think pope going to be a fit for this.

[HipTer]

Don't need to watch the game to know that 19 vs 6 in TOs is basically insurmountable.

[MidseasonTweak]

Holy ****!!! Johnson!!! And Popes only response is to simply clap his hands on sideline

Clap and look on. Doesn't do any coaching during the game

[bigblue1971]

70-47 He's gotta go

[TheWyldKat_rivals45219]

Now JJ is in hahahahaha

Just hope he doesn’t fall down three more times lol

[KyLegacyBBN]

47 points. Lmao, this team has given up.

[phyrekat01]

We need to throw a bag at Oetzelberger. Loses his star player and still runs us off the floor.
Killing it at a non-traditional basketball school. In freaking Iowa.

[BBUK]

If a person had shame, they'd NEVER show their face again....
