Heard Steiber on the mat 3 broadcast yelling at the ref saying “he (Mendez) chased him around the mat the entire 3rd period. I’m trying to win the Hodge.”

Pretty goofy comment to make for a guy that sat in Paddy’s corner while Messenbrink chased him around all 3rd period (obviously giving him that instruction).
He may have something in his comp related to it

Not to count chickens, but SVN's semi-final match is imminently winnable and #2 Joy (who many thought was Van Ness' only competition here) just lost. Very nice. Just win and advance PSU, win and advance.

These 157 quarters are ******* fire!! So good. I hate rooting for OkSt but I want Robideau to beat Larkin. Duke can smash Robideau I think. Probably Larkin too but he’s so long and funky it might give Pj some problems

To folks complaining about the stalemate call in SV-1 (in SVN's match): those can be tough. As a ref, you try to give the wrestlers every opportunity to score points. But you're also aware in SV that situations where nobody can improve are just wasting precious time. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't, situation on making the call. FWIW, I thought the stalemate should have been called. But just as it was called SVN did clear his foot, and would have gotten the TD -- something you HATE to see as a ref, but you can't take back the call.

I thought I was watching freestyle with all the fake timeouts to get their guy a break.

Got through the part of the lineup where Ok State might have a bit of an advantage overall only losing a point to them (difference between Jax’s 1.5 bonus points and Davis’ 1/2 point
