Very rarely do we land a west coast player. I am as down on Pope as anybody but it's almost a waste of time to recruit those guys. We've had a few but not many.

You all still look at recruiting like it used to be.
It simply comes down to money now. These kids absolutely do not care what jersey they wear. Time will tell if we offered this kid enough to make him say yes or if we didn’t. It’s really that simple.

If that were true we would already have Stokes.
That is actually not ture. Kentucky has had several west coast kids throughout the years.
We still have 11 players for next tear until they decide to leave or our coaches give them the boot. Same **** different day.
Funny story. When I was in high school, I had a small college trying to get me to attend (due to my good test scores). It was an all-girls school in Indiana converting over to Coed. I think they were hoping to get it to 90/10 split that first year. I didn't even consider it. What the F*** was I thinking (SMH).
We will have a coaching search after next off season to occupy us then if this is the case
The sad thing is Kentucky is not only not listed as favorites for any players next year, but they are not listed as favorites for any players for the following year either.

- Johnny Juzang – Los Angeles, CA
- Devin Askew – Los Angeles, CA
- Lamont Butler – Moreno Valley, CA
- EJ Floreal – Palo Alto (walk-on), CA
2 of those transferred out and one walked on. Go Cats!

Boston is from the south (Atlanta), but did play high school ball at Sierra Canyon in Cali his senior year to play with Bronny James.
Here they are, by State ... interesting that we've never had a player from South Carolina.
