Not the easiest matchups for us. Troy is tough, they are big and rebound well, and the Campbell brothers can shoot it from outside. They played Kentucky in the tournament last year so they won't be intimidated.

Then if you get past them you have Vandy or McNeese, who are both playing well. McNeese upset a 5-seed last year.

Better than getting St. John's though

13.5 pt favorites. Cant be that tough
Throw out point spreads in the tournament. I watched them play against a good Akron team that also made the tournament and they torched them. I like that it’s close to home, but Troy can shoot the ball.

As can we. Thats how we won 26 games
Not that well against Purdue and UCLA, and those are our recent games. I’m not trying to be a downer, but I don’t like the way Nebraska has ended the season. I’m a bit pessimistic, obviously. I’m hoping our tougher schedule prepared Nebraska to beat a team like Troy, but if we play like we did over the last 3-4 games, it could be trouble.

They beat San Diego State on the road and took USC to triple overtime on the road.

They will shoot a lot of threes and crash the boards. They also appear to defend the three well. If they get hot and/or we don't rebound well, it will be a tough game.

I think the Huskers got a fairly favorable draw, but they need to get back to playing with maximum energy right out of the gate. Haven’t seen that from them in a while. Any team in the field can beat them if don’t pick it up.

Some of you can laugh all you want about Troy. I happen to remember Nebraska’s last time they were seeded high. A three seed in ‘91 and proceeded to get beat. I’m hoping Nebraska wins by 20. I’m just cautious.
The CBS crew stated that Troy was Tall AND physical. I have not watched them so I don't know.
i watched them play two games. I thought they had a height advantage both times. Didn’t particularly think they were anymore physical than anyone else. When I think physical from a mid major point, I think San Diego State type of physical.

They are not that tall, but they do crash the offensive boards hard. As long as we rebound we will be in good shape. One of their big guys got hurt and hasn't played since mid-February, but it seems like they've played better without him (they are 5-1 without him). However it sounds like he will be available for the NCAA Tournament.

Surprised they put us in the earliest game. You'd think they would put us in prime time with the way that Huskers athletics get TV ratings.

It's good for OKC businesses, though. That means all the Husker fans will have to drive down on Wednesday already. A lot of people in Nebraska going to be calling in sick on Thursday morning.

The post above yours says they aren’t physically tough. ???
