Damn, unlucky despite our great defense on that last possession. Still, I’ll take a 9-point lead at halftime, against the #7 team in the country.

I can honestly say, so far we’ve earned this lead on pure effort, confidence, and execution. No luck involved. And we are not intimidated by MSU’s ranking.

Fair to be frustrated but IF Rutgers runs it back with Pike I think Zrno is a keep

you can see clearly he has a nice stroke and is getting more comfortable as games go on

he can be a very valuable shooting spark off bench on a good team

Definitely a keeper. Just needs to be more consistent.

I am an amateur fan, but it seems the defense is swarming to the ball, much like a Schiano 1.0 defense. Stat sheet says MSU 20 rebounds to Rutgers 9 rebounds, and that seems off.

Let’s face it, MSU will make a run in the second half, especially getting a couple guys with 2 fouls back on the court.

The question is, can we take the punch and still win the game? If so, I will be VERY impressed.

Fun fact...Rutgers leading rebounder at the half is Zrno with 2.
Also, only four Scarlet Knight have scored in the first half.
We all know what's coming.

We can do better boxing out, but MSU got a few lucky bounces on those offensive rebounds.

Who’s that Steve Urkel lookalike that sits on our bench in street clothes?
