Going to be a very difficult game. Wisky can really fill it up (82 ppg), especially from 3-pt range. Blackwell and Carrington are both on a heater from deep, but the Badgers are good because everybody on the court can shoot, including their two bigs, Nolan Winter (14.1 ppg, 16-50 from deep) and Aleksis Bieliauskas (4.8 ppg, 13-39 from deep). All told, they have seven players who have hit at least 13 threes on the year.

They do give up 75 ppg, which is 14th in the B1G (Rutgers is 12th at about 73 ppg), so our only hope is that they have an off shooting night and Rutgers has an unusually good shooting night. Barring that, this is looking like an 84-68 loss.

Our bigs have to come out and guard the 3 but in watching their game versus Michigan their bigs are very good we will have a lot of trouble with them and HAVE to stay out of foul trouble

Badger fan checking in, coming in peace. I know you're not feeling great about your team overall, but I do think you've acquitted yourselves fairly well results-wise given the early conference schedule you've faced (i.e. won the home games that were winnable on paper).

If there's anything you want to know about the Badgers let me know. They seem to be the prototypical live and die by the 3 team so far.

RU doesn't guard the 3 point line, so expect you'll be ok here

Is there a Rutgers watch party for this game somewhere in Manhattan?

Yes, just what I wanted to see Zrno starting again. 0 for January and zero D gets you starting minutes in Steve Pikiell's world.
It's insane...but I'm not surprised either. It's a Pikiell rule, don't change lineup after a win!

Onc again Rutgers opponent Wisconsin 3 point shooting is the difference in the early minutes of the game.

Grant didn't even try to box out. Guy ran right past him to get the rebound. I don't get it, do we not teach it or are these kids just ignoring them?
