Pretty close to my prediction. I see it as bad as 8-2 with best case 6-4. They've had a lot of time off, and Penn State was not an indication of readiness - too outclassed to tell. If he even wrestles, will Olivieri be in shape after all that time off?

I’m kind of viewing this as a transition year for Rutgers. Next year you have Knox and the 2 Harer stepping into the lineup plus Barbosa ,SCW and Cotten back chapman at 174. Next years team has a much higher dual and tournament ceiling and hopefully will be a lot more aggressive minded team too.
this years team has an undersized 125, Shawver ,Clark ,White,catka have all peaked already. Pinto hasnt looked good , JO has been gone so long someone should filed a missing person. This years team is what it is.

Question for the people who know wrestling – – why did Pinto take that shot near the end and put himself at risk? He couldn’t win without two takedowns, which wasn’t going to happen, and even a stall wouldn’t hurt him at that point – – why?

Cotton is a tough kid and one of our stronger (strength not skill) wrestlers.
Well that is not happening now with Knox but wishful thinking.
But he desperately needs a top assistant.

I’ve never seen such poor mat wrestling from a team as a whole. Non stop sit outs and roll attempts. Head on the mat, hips downs. Feet flying in the air. Little to no hand control. It’s like high school mat wrestling

I was happy to see Gibson wrestle. Would of been great if he pulled it out. He made some scoring attempts at least. It kind of looks like we're in the bottom 3 of the conference this year. Starting to think Crackers is right about 141. Very coincidental that this incident happened at the same time as the other two were busted. Either way, just let the kid wrestle. Who gives a ****.
