Is that 10 pts for MW at the half?

Hit inside, mid-range, and 3. Huge blocked shot.
Yep. If they would pass her the ball more she'd be doing even better. Lots of the guards going one one one. Most of the half never saw an assist from any of their guards. You can see though MW being that stretch 4 that we were hoping Hannah would become. Her and Ava/Layla should be dynamic. Her team mate Cosgrove just committed to Michigan as well.

It's going to be lethal, MW is going to make a living from the elbow. It will really free up ava and hays

Been fun watching Woliczko. Mitty had no defense for Smith who simply took over the game. She's the real deal. 50 piece.

Mitty doesn't run anything to get Woliczko involved, which, idk, it's high school ball. Mitty had their chances to win.

McKenna isn't nearly as physical as a vet college player like Stuelke, so keep that in mind with expectations. Woliczko will need to get stronger to get her game, but she is also just starting to play post-injury in this game. Just great seeing her play and seeing her get back into it.

I thought I was just going to watch to see how Woliczko looked, but I am invested in this game.

Overtime tied 83 all with less than a minute left
I had read alot about MW's ability to score from three levels and hit the boards. but I was really impressed with her awareness and passing ability. She had to have led the team in assists. I'm sure she was gassed as she hasn't been playing anywhere near those kind of minutes since her return a few games ago. She sat out the first ten games. Truthfully I was glad that the game ended and not risk her getting some kind of injury from fatigue or something.

While its true that she'll need to adjust to the more physical college game, that game was pretty physical and important to remember that she is basically playing out of position as the post player. Although she can post up she'll rarely be the low post player with Ava/Layla playing the 5. She has all the skills to be that stretch 4 we need in this offense, and she plays D as well.

I'm only a little disheartened (okay, a lot) that the MaxPreps announcers do a far better job than the Big Ten + guys.
Still, I found it pretty odd they said there were NO D1 coaches at the game because they could watch Smith and MW on TV and know what they are and not even travel to the game. I always thought the coaches being at the game was as much about the players seeing THEM, as the coaches seeing the players. I mean the two top teams in the country, two top 6 players, and probably 10 D1 prospects between the two rosters and ZERO coaches in attendance? Heck Lisa and Jan flew to China to "be seen" by CC22 and others on the USA U17 team. That makes an impression.
