Not sure if we have the correct technology in football yet. It think in most MLB parks they have something called StatCast which is like 12 or more high speed cameras which track a lot of things but baseball doesn't move as fast as football and there are only a few individuals involved in a play(batter, pitcher, catcher, fielder). Even baseball has not implemented the technology for this. There are many times when balls are called strikes that change the at bat that effect the outcome of the game. In football there are need to be several camaras focusing on each position(offense and defense) from several angles in order to capture high def images all the time. Over the course of each play there would be hundreds of images every millisecond that would need to be parsed thru in order to analyze plays. I don't think the technology is in place in every pro/college stadium etc. They would have to apply this tech to every game and not just big games for consistency over the course of the season. Do the players just in the immediate vicinity of where the ball is get reviewed? What if there was a pick prior to the WR getting open in the endzone, what if a lineman was holding 20 yards away from the play? There are too many scenarios for the constant reviewing to be fair and equitable over the course of a football game and season. Officiating whether good or bad is just part of the game and no technology is going to replace it anytime soon. It has taken years for the reviews to be put in place and we saw(with PSU) how that even gets it wrong in the past.
About baseball, the technology is accurate enough to call balls and strikes at least as well as flesh and blood umpires. Football? You’re probably right in your assessment but I haven’t given robot football referees much thought.

Added two players? Does that mean non-scholarship players who practice with the team?
One was moved to safety at the beginning of the season from RB. She said the player still knows the calls for the offense.
The other is a linebacker.
I’m thinking pass pro could be an issue if Oregon is looking for one of them to pick up a blitz

I disagree. Yes, they were both doing it, but the Miami defender was on him so much that Ole Miss WR never really got a fair opportunity to go try to get that ball.
That's fair. What I saw all game was sticky coverage where jerseys were being pulled and grabbed, and few calls where made. Refs are not going to call a PI on a Hail Mary pass in most cases.

Everything short for Oregon so far--working on this drive but Indiana's going to get more turnovers if they don't take some shots as this game goes on

I don’t think Oregon has the defense to win this game.
