Now that the game is over and the three retards from the UCLA game thread can't police us anymore; this was a dogshit game by Iowa, in nearly every respect. Dead on offense, hot and cold on defense, and Bennett played his worst game of his career. Didn't help that the refs were homecooking all game.

Hausen clearly made an impact on both ends of the floor when he was in, despite the cry babies who complain about anyone who mutters his name.

Easily the worst game of the BMC era so far. Nothing went right, but even still, we made a game until the very last second. That makes it frustrating because Minnesota isn't a good team. The guys better stop giving up on open shots and figure something out, or Illinois will embarrass us this weekend.

Ben has to recruit physical bigs who can hold their ground in the paint. You cannot compete at a high level in the Big without real size and strength inside. I am going to flush this one. Michigan only beat Penn State by two, and earlier in the season they were beating better teams by twenty. Bad games happen. The difference between good teams and great ones is that great teams still find a way to win the ugly ones, and they learn from them.

This teams going to struggle on the road. In reality I think it's toward the very bottom in terms of talent. I'm not sure Minnesota wasn't more talented team tonight for example. They play hard though and I believe in Mccollum. If you can get 2 to 3 on the road and just give up a couple at home, get to 10-10 in the league that should get you in the dance and I think that'd be a tremendous first year.

There's just not enough scorers combined with Big ten quality bodies. Every player outside of Stirtz has a major weakness. Haussen is a better scorer than most the options but he's going to give up more on other end. I think they have to play slow to some degree until he can build a more complete roster

Yet it appears he's a much better defender than JBo and JBo was very effective against slow brick laying teams like MN. Playing Haussen more may not be as bad as we think.

Unfortunately, it appears there were some miscalculations in this roster build.

I warned people of the possibility of this, when it appeared most of last season's team, as well as what would have been the incoming class, were run off by the staff. But of course, fans insisted on fanning.

Ben will learn and get it figured out. This was his first roster build at this level.

Ultimately, talent will come down to money. Build the best rosters for the money going forward. And fortunately, we can count on Ben maxing out the potential of his rosters
