I've been to several of the parades, and can do the Mummer's strut. But, I've never marched in the parade.

I'm watching it now. That sure looks like fun. We have a party NYE, pork and sauerkraut for the family on Jan. 1. Leftovers until gone, then. Until that changes, I'll have to watch it on TV.

The original (Aaron Copeland) is played to open each Olympic Games I believe.
There are a few renditions on YouTube. They do a great job. Love that Ronnie lane starts the vocal.

My bad. I was trying to merge the 2 Jukebox threads, and accidentally merged the earlier one with the Portal thread. There's supposed to be a way to unmerge, but I've never gotten that to work.
I tried to quickly look through the Portal thread and find the Jukebox posts I had mistakenly merged into it. Alas, it's too many pages, so I did my best, but I'm not looking anymore. If anyone finds a post in the Portal thread the should be moved, post something that tags me indicating where it is, and I'll move it.
