Stefan Halper who was one of the main spies embedded in the Trump campaign goes way back. They used the A Team to go after Trump. Interesting read.

Remember back in the 80's when all the Savings and Loans were collapsing? At the exact same time the CIA was raising money for the Contras and flooding the US with cocaine? Yeah, its all related.
Did you know that Stefan Halper founded a bank in June 1983 called Palmer National Bank? He had zero banking experience but lots of CIA/MI6 ties. He's a Stanford/Oxford guy and served in the Nixon and Ford WH when we were conducting Operation Condor overthrowing all the governments in Latin America.
His father-in-law? Mr CIA Ray Cline. The same Ray Cline that was in the OSS with Paul Helliwell in China that set up Mr Heroin Chiang Kai Shek in Taiwan to set up the largest opium ring in the world. There, Cline worked with E Howard Hunt, John Singlaub, Mitch Werbell III (weapons dealer) and the infamous Paul Helliwell of CIA front Castle Bank.
When Carter came in Hapler moved over to Senator William Roth's office. He was a republican from Delaware and directly tied to the du Pont family. Roth's aide at the time was Stephen Cass Weiland who was the attomey for Robert Corson who was a central figure in money laundering that caused the S&L debacle.
In 1980, Halper becomes a policy director for Bush Sr's (Mr CIA) presidential campaign. He was picked up by the Reagan/Bush tix as a policy guy. He was joined by his CIA father in law there as well. Cline was quoted as saying he intended to "organize something like one of my old CIA staff' for Bush Sr. Which of course he did in the form of Contras ran directly out of Bush's office with CIA trained assassin Felix Rodriguez and Donald Gregg.
You probably remember the fiasco around the Reagan campaign stealing Carter's debate notes if you were alive back then but what you probably don't remember because very little was written about it was that it was Stefan Harper that was behind it and finding out what October Surprise the Carter campaign might be planning. He was a spy doing what spies do according to Leslie Gelb at the NYTs.
One of the CIA assets working for Halper at the time was Robert Gambino who was assigned to the Office of Security in the CIA according to the NYTs. A House report in May of 1984 would implicate Halper in "DebateGate". That same report said James Baker III had the debate notes of Carter and that he received them from future CIA director William Casey who was Reagan's campaign manager. David Gergen, another guy that started with Halper on the Bush campaign was implicated as well...he calls himself a journalist.
The newly elected president and his State Department created a brand new position especially for Halper in the State's Bureau of Politico-Military Affairs office where he became a special asst/deputy. Gergen was involved in getting the position approved.
Back to Palmer National Bank, Halper hired Frederic Malek, a Nixon/Bush guy who had to resign from the deputy RNC chair position after it was revealed he had compiled a list of how many Jewish ppl worked at the Dept of Labor Statistic who were all removed from their positions. Malek was a West Point mafia guy, Green Beret, Harvard MBA and was appointed to the Postal Service Board of Directors by Reagan.
Probably the most interesting guy Halper hired was Harvey McLean Jr. He was the only one not in the DC swamp. He was a real estate developer in Shreveport LA. McLean Sr was in the oil business and worked with Bush Sr at Zapata Offshore Oil which has ties to the CIA. McLean and Halper met on the Bush campaign in 1980. McLean did favors for Bush related to Jeb Bush.
Halper reached out to McLean several times while at the State Dept including taking him on a trip to China. During that trip McLean offered to fund a bank in DC if Halper would open one.
Here's the clincher. McLean put up 95% of the initial money ($3M) for the bank. He got the money from Herman K Beebe, a known mobster. Beebe's bank Bossier Bank & Loan sent the money. Normally Bossier would have received some level of ownership for fronting the money...they receive zero ownership interest for the $3M. Palmer was actually named after McLean family members.
Yes, there's more. The bank became a laundermat for every Republican political action committee in DC, 'loaning' them money. Carl R "Spitz" Channell set up his National Endowment for the Preservation of Liberty (which my naming pattern has nothing to do with liberty) at Palmer. He raised $10M for contra support all kept at Pamer. This of course was done after congress cut the CIA off from funding the contras. Channel was later convicted bc he'd been telling donors the 'contributions' were tax exempt. Palmer would wired the money to Oliver North's Swiss bank (with a few stops along the way) for arms deals with Iran/Contra. Channel was hit by a car and died in the hospital.
Halper's name is also in the very last note in Oliver North's famous notebook titled "Legal Defense Fund".
The guy with no banking experience leaves Palmer after it was exposed and moved to National Bank of Northern Virginia. NBNV's attorney had borrowed money from Palmer (Halper). The attorney, curtis Herge was also the attorney for the Nicaraguan Resistance Education Foundation. Herge was also Channell's attorney.
While all of this was going on Ray Cline (FIL) was advising GeoMiliTech on selling arms to efforts like the Contras. Singlaub was involved in this effort as well. GeoMiliTech CEO was Barbar Studley who set up a $5M sell of weapons to the Contras.
Palmer was involved in many shady loans tied to failed S&L throughput the country.

Halper actually used your tax dollars to 'seed' a false narrative throughout the mainstream media, both in the US and the UK, that Lokhova was a Russian intelligence asset that attempted to have an affair with General Flynn and compromise him.
The chief claim of that narrative was that Flynn and Lokhova left a Cambridge formal dinner together. Which is not true. Lokhova was there with her partner, and Halper did not even attend this dinner. But pay-to-publish has been a real thing at Fake News outlets for a long time, and I've no doubt Halper greased some palms to get these allegations into print so they could be used to drive investigations of designated targets.

FBI probing classified Trump-Russia evidence in ‘burn bags,' including from Comey, memo revealsSpeculation has swirled about how the five burn bags ended up in Room 9582, but the official FBI investigative summary provides a clearer picture.
According to the report, the classified records were deliberately moved into the dormant SCIF sometime in the narrow window surrounding President Trump’s second inauguration in January 2025.
The report describes the operation as:“…a hasty and chaotic effort by certain employees to collect senior management officials’ records in advance of the anticipated transition of a new team of FBI executives taking control after the presidential inauguration.”
In other words, as the outgoing leadership and their staffs faced the imminent arrival of Kash Patel and the new Trump-appointed team, a small group of holdover or recently departed personnel scrambled to round up sensitive Crossfire Hurricane-related files, handwritten notes, hard drives, and other materials from former seventh-floor offices.
Rather than properly archiving them or turning them over during the transition, they stuffed the documents into burn bags intended for destruction and stashed the bags inside the little-used SCIF (Room 9582), presumably hoping they would either be forgotten or later destroyed without a trace once the new administration was in place.
The plan failed when Patel’s team discovered the bags in April 2025.
It is also telling that several of the most sensitive records were “FBI Prohibited Access Files.”
“Prohibited Access” means routine searches in the FBI database turn up false negatives. In other words, the highly sensitive records exist, but a search of the FBI records system returns zero hits. It’s like the ultimate, bureaucratic black hole.
The most important document of all is a CIA intelligence referral dated SEPT 7, 2016. Its subject is the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
Sent to then FBI Director Comey, the CIA referral was believed to be missing for several years.
The FBI report’s finding is beyond stunning. The CIA referral was found in a storage closet “adjacent to the (FBI) Director’s Office.”
Comey has testified that “he was unfamiliar with (the CIA referral) as well as its related intelligence.” The accuracy of this Comey testimony also appears to be in doubt.
My money is on Peter Strzok being the culprit.
WHO IS JAKE SULLIVAN, THE MAN BEHIND THE CONSPIRACY TO OVERTHROW PRESIDENT TRUMP?
Jake Sullivan served as a key advisor to Hillary Clinton, including as her Deputy Chief of Staff at the State Department and senior policy advisor during her 2016 presidential campaign, where he shaped foreign and domestic policy strategies.
At the State Department, Sullivan implemented Hillary's strategy to prop up Al Qaeda, was involved in the Benghazi cover-up, and was implicated in Hillary's private server scandal.
Sullivan was one of the key architects of the Hillary Clinton plan to tie Donald Trump to Russian intelligence to distract from her email scandal, which was costing her the presidential election.
The Plan, personally approved by Obama and financed by Soros, became known as the Russiagate Conspiracy.
Sullivan conspired with Hillary's lawyers Marc Elias and Michael Sussmann, along with Hillary campaign advisors, to manufacture the Russiagate lies via the Steele Dossier and other means, and to feed them to the FBI and the media.
Sullivan played a key role in promoting the manufactured lies about Trump-Russia ties, such as the falsified allegation of "Trump's secret server communications with Russia," also known as the Alfa Bank conspiracy. Court records show that Hillary Clinton personally approved sharing the Alfa Bank lies with the press, and Sullivan was the main advisor involved in the decision.
After the 2016 presidential election, Sullivan participated in the conspiracy to overthrow President Trump. This included participating in meetings with Soros- and Hoffman-financed Daniel Jones, a former aide to California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and Glenn Simpson and his partner Peter Fritsch of Fusion GPS, as part of the 2017-2018 effort to impeach President Trump for the manufactured "Russia ties."
In 2017-2018, Sullivan and his co-conspirators continued to push the fabricated "Trump-Russia ties" lies to the media, the CIA, and the FBI.
Soros and Hoffman-financed Fusion GPS continued to work with Christopher Steele, and the group gave manufactured, falsified "evidence" to the Senate Intelligence Committee and Senate Armed Services Committee against the President.
These insidious efforts, amplified by the treacherous maneuvers of Comey, Brennan, and Clapper, ultimately orchestrated the fraudulent appointment of Special Counsel Mueller—dubbed the Mueller Witch Hunt—which relentlessly sabotaged and hampered the first Trump administration.

On September 15, 2016, Hillary Clinton's lawyer Mark Elias emailed top Clinton aides: policy advisor Jake Sullivan, campaign manager Robby Mook, chairman John Podesta, and communications director Jennifer Palmieri.
Elias briefed them on the manufactured Alfa Bank smear and planned media coverage, and sent them a copy of the not-yet-published New York Times story on the topic.

The Durham Report found that as the Clinton campaign (Sullivan) immediately issued a tweet concerning the articles, after funding the Alfa Bank allegations and receiving foreknowledge of the articles from Sussmann and Elias, this shows that the Alfa Bank allegations were part of the Hillary Clinton Plan to tie Donald Trump to Russia.
