********, women’s bball is so hard to watch.

It’s like little kids throwing up little kid shots.

Of the part of the 1st half and pretty much all the 2nd half I watched today, only two things stood out as non-really positive.

1. We got a very good glimpse as to why Joey Matteoni hardly ever sees any floor time. Dude's got a lot of work to do be D1 ready, especially in a power conference like the B1G.

2. B1G officiating still being stellar. That 4th foul on Alvaro when MD's big just charged in there like a bull in a china shop but lost his balance and fell; whistle on AF. Paul Szelc will never be missed when he ever decides to hang it up.

Good bounce-back game and win overall, though.

Too many times in the very recent past Iowa is likely 0-2 to start conference play after this weekend, instead of the 1-1 they currently are.

Holy s h i t - were ANY of Alvaro's fouls actual fouls? No wonder he was so frustrated 🤬

One positive is that we can put to rest the phrase “life on the road in the B1G”

Iowa doesn’t even get those calls on playing Colgate or MD Eastern Shore in the non conference at home.

Very bizarre for what nine or ten straight possessions end in a shooting foul on one team without a foul on the other end called.
