Ha Ha! Career long to tie or win it again at the end of the game. This is insanely bad luck.

They simply can't stop anyone. The offense literally has to score 30 or over to win. Between this D and Rutgers, I'm dumbfounded by the ineptitude.

Detroit offsides not called WTF

I would've kicked the FG
Giants inability to stop anyone is why I didn't mind going for the TD late in the 4th. A FG still gives Detroit 3 minutes to drive and score a TD to win it.

Giants can beat the raiders which will cost them a few spots in the draft

I too liked the decision. You score the TD, you're assured of victory (assuming you can recover an onside kick). You kick the FG, you're assured of nothing.

that's unreal.

when you add games like the Pakcers game where Winston gets picked off on the endzone with a chance to tie the game, there is a legitimate alternate timeline where the giants are actually a playoff team
The one push back I have is how bad our defense has been. This is not a playoff caliber D.

We can ask why the defense has been good early in these game's only to fall apart late, and is there some alternate universe where they don't fall apart late?

But I can't watch this team and think playoffs.

The offense has been pretty good though.

This is an insane prediction (I know) but the Giants run the table winning their last five games.

So- I would have went for the FG and make them drive the field for a TD. But ok- he wanted to be aggressive, they don't have much to lose.

Here is my biggest inexcusable error. If you know that you are going to go for it on 4th down if you don't score on 3rd down, you run the fing ball. That incomplete pass took no time off the clock and stopped it. So- Detroit saved a time out and or significant time. If you don't make it on 3rd down running the ball- go ahead and throw it if you want on 4th as the stop would stop regardless.

Throwing on that play is what lost the game.

Did they ever explain what happened with Lawrence?

Jude McAtamney was released off the practice squad today. His NFL career is likely over. But he did have one and can always be proud of that. How many kickers who were beaten out of their job in their senior year, come back to make the NFL? I know of just one.

What in the fv*k was that by the kicker? Amazing the rejects Schoen put together in the kicking game.

Put my two favorite teams together and it’s like watching a Three Stooges Take On Football movie
Don’t recall ever seeing that before.

There’s nothing legit about this team being a playoff team.

It also highlights how Joe Schoen seems barely aware that he has to get personnel for special teams.
