Hope you are correct or we get to relax for once. Turnovers in the cold weather could be a factor.

I agree. Will be shocked if Nebraska D does not line up 7 sometimes 8 within 5 yards of the LOS. It will be tough running but that doesn’t mean that Iowa can’t get some fairly consistent 5-7 yd pops ……and a stacked defensive box risks a race to the EZ if the OL opens a lane.

Get the TEs involved in the pass game and Nebraska will need to adjust.

Mark is a$$ throwing the ball as we all know.

Go “half-back” pass, WR reverse and double reverse to combat them selling out on the runs between the tackles.

Bring in Hecklinski a few plays as a curve ball.

Have RVZ throw a pass.

I dont think many people watching those other games would watch much of Iowa at Nebby if their teams were not playing. They might peek in to get a look at this so called Iowa offense, or maybe to see Wetjen return kicks, but now in the age of YouTube highlights anyone can watch his highlights. As a matter of fact, I just typed Kaden into the YouTube search bar and the first auto fill entry was "Kaden wetjen highlights 2025"

My most dreaded game of the year. It's like getting a tooth pulled, you just want it over with.

This is the first time in years we've had our starting QB actually start. I can only pray our offense plays like it did against Minnesota. What it comes down to for the Hawks is simply bullying them at the LOS. If Iowa gets push early and marches down and scores, that will be a really good sign. Little red's run defense is awful, so we have to get thr run going early.

In the end, all I want is a win to keep those insufferable bugeater fans away for another year.

Iowa is +11 in turnover margin for games played at Memorial Stadium since 2013.

I’ve got Iowa by 10. But this could easily be a Wisky like blowout. No way Iowa loses.

I have been saying all season Nebraska would win this game, for a variety of reasons. I have seen nothing to change my opinion.

Nebraska 20
Iowa 10

Hawk fans are unreasonably overconfident, in my view.

I think it’s going to look like last week if Iowa can’t throw. Too many 3rd and medium situations. Nebraska will move the ball between the 20s and hopefully have to take field goals. If Iowa can throw just enough to keep Nebraska from screaming down hill I think they can win by two scores. If not it’s going to be sketchy.
