I get she’s a freshman. I get the competition is tougher. But what have you seen that shows you she’s going to be great?

Rodrigues is a damn spaz on the court, but her athleticism shows. It’s easy to watch her and say, “she’ll be great once she plays under control.” Same with Ava a year ago. She flashed great touch and ability around the rim. She just needed time to become consistent.

I just don’t see anything from Deal.

I've seen her play in limited action over the course of 7 games. I would say I haven't seen enough of her to make any judgements about her potential for the future. I will say the fact she has only seen limited action is telling on it's own, though. I'm just going to give her time to figure it out.

Unbelievable that we won this game.
At times it looked like a really bad adult team (Baylor) against a high school team (Iowa). Well, we won and that’s good, but we have so many things to improve.
Rodriguez and Deal need to stay on the court, even when they’re making mistakes. They need to reach the level they’re capable of reaching. We’re not going anywhere with Kylie and McCabe playing 25-30 minutes and scoring 5 points per game.

Don't look now, but Taylor McCabe played 35 minutes, and had 8 rebounds, the same amount of rebounds as Stuelke. Crazy. (only had 4 points but......). She really does appear to better defensively too.

Emily was 2/9 and had 6 turnovers.
Addie and Layla didn't score

And we we still beat a Top 10 team.

Hard to think they will have a lot of games where 7/10 people in the rotation have below average games.

Seemed like Baylor was game planning on stopping any transition scoring. So they would launch of a 3 and most would get back to defend, leaving pretty much whoever was closest (often McCabe) to clean up the rebound.

Ugly wins are when you let some scrub team hang around too long and eke it out in the end. Ol' Doodle contends there is no such thing as an ugly win on a neutral court over a Top 10 team sitting 12 places higher in the rankings, no matter the manner in which said win was delivered.

Ava is a stud.
Mccabe is steady...and a vet.
ERod has game..just tame it.
Hannah ran into bigger ,longer athletes..will not be norm.
Addie has floor game..she will be fine.
Journey should have played more..she can deal with physical.
