She's a hooper. Baylor has a great defense. She'll have a few games this year where she really shines.
I'm declaring this game a moral loss.
Does someone have an update on chit chat? Like what happened? Did she get a concussion?
This game reminds me a lot of the Tennessee game last year. Early season high ranked opponent in a dog fight. I don't think we would have won this game last year.

What a huge win for this VERY young Iowa team! Great win, they learned to play tough now, this game will play huge dividends down the road.
Shout out to Ava, what a game, she is soooo quick that she is going to be a monster as her career moves forward. Can’t say enough about this very young team, they are only going to get better as the season goes on, and they are already playing pretty well.

Huge win! That wasn't even close to how good they can play but they stepped up where they had to and got it done. Hopefully Chit Chat isn't hurt too bad.

No they are not. That’s a tremendous defensive team. And even though most of our players suck, we won.
She did put her defender in the dishwasher at the end there. I got dizzy watching it.

That’s a big development. Against a quality team.
She's trying to do too much and needs to be quicker with her decisions. The ball just stops every time she gets and the offense can't get into any rhythm. Drive or pass, stop dinking around dribbling so much, drives me insane. That said, she has a ton of talent and the above typically gets better with more minutes.

It’s a little puzzling to me. She just doesn’t look overly skilled nor athletic. Given her pedigree I would expect her to be more of a contributor early.
They have one of the best guards in the game. Normally they would have more post points, but we played great defense and have size.

Well, she's a freshmen and she's playing like a freshmen. That being said she looks very intimidated to me. She needs to get the confidence she is clearly lacking right now. Hopefully she gets it worked out over the course of the season.
Really athletic and good on the defensive end. And last year they would have blown us off the court.
