Kentucky @ Louisville Game Thread

[catsarecool1447]

Lowe and Oweh both hurting us a lot down the stretch. Not gonna win many games with that happening.

Selfish play after selfish play by those 2

[gbl97]

It's almost like Lowe could have used another game or two before this instead of sitting out to be cautious.

[ChicagoCat90]

Can't wait for BG to keep JQ's seat warm once he's healthy.

[Vek96]

Love Garrison but he is so off tonight, dude needs to smell pine for the rest of the night

Garrison sucks.

[kyjeff1]

Aw gee shucks guys. Pope coached a great game because we ONLY lost to a team that has no frontcourt. I’m a better fan than everyone else because I’m clapping my hands while we get demonstrably outcoached

You guys need to mature. You're better than this.

[ToniTonyToneDelkDelkDelk]

Chandler, Aberdeen showed up.

So did Jevlavic a little bit and Moreno too.

And Kam when he was called on.

Lowe has to get under control.

The rest of the team has been a 6 pack of a$$.

[Farsight Clone]

Why is garrison in ???? Lowe made few selfish mistakes. Aberdeen not hitting his missed free throw offensive rebound blew our momentum.

[Monday Nitro]

Cool, you are happy with getting our *** kicked in the sweet sixteen after losing double digit games. I’ll hold you to that going forward.

Find somebody and get a hug.

[CUJO_1970]

Lowe in absolute crunch time:

brick the front end of a one and one and step out of bounds

[bbnkat02]

I'm going to bed- gonna need to sleep this off. Sucks.

See everyone Friday.

[theBlues]

They're a bunch of chokers; Kentucky just didn't make shots to take advantage of it.

[LexingtonThoroughblade]

Too bad we cant make them pay foe these FT misses

[Kingslayer07]

It's almost like Lowe could have used another game or two before this instead of sitting out to be cautious.

Exactly what I said. Cant just expect to play and be really good. Gotta have in game reps.

[Anon1762915160]

I dont want to be over critical on the 3rd game of the year with a bunch of new guys but Garrison is still lost from last year. Im not sure why he gets the minutes he does. Oweh will win games with his shooting and also lose games with his shooting. 8 TOs from Oweh and Lowe. Cant happen. Jasper is a freshman and will have these games but he will be real good. Once Quaintance comes, Garrison whould only get 12 Minutes a game. Moreno is much better

[Hoskins91_rivals]

You have got to be joking. Grow up, you child.

You’re the one being a *****, complaining about people giving justified criticism. We’re Kentucky. Expectations are high. You can’t deal with that you have no business being here.

[wccat]

No way is 00 the SEC player of the year

[kywildcat1021979]

This is Kentucky basketball. Win or stay home. We haven't been to the promised land in 13 years. Haven't sniffed a FF in a DECADE.

Excuse me if my patience is growing thin.

Haven’t seen a #1 seed in 11 years when the tournament rolls around . We aren’t getting one of those again this year.

[kyjeff1]

We were down what, 14 when he came in?? Cut it to 4 with him in the whole time.

Chandler and Aberdeen did most of the work.
Heck Aberdeen has at least 20

[Rainmaker]

A lot to like and a lot not to like about this one. Two terrible stretches they cooked us in. We fought hard and showed heart, just need to be way more consistent. Final 2 minutes have been hard to watch, we didn’t execute at all. As much as I hate losing to Louisville our team has a ton of potential, especially when JQ is back late December or early January.

[KYSouthpaw]

Spinning shot in the lane by Oweh when we need a 3? WTF man. He is not who he thinks he is.

[catsarecool1447]

It's almost like Lowe could have used another game or two before this instead of sitting out to be cautious.

He's a junior. rust wasn't his problem. Trying to be superman was

[philstat]

PK has tremendously more presence than Pope, he has fire, drive and a fight, Pope acts like he’s attending Mass.

[Vek96]

wtf is Lowe doing he cost us the game

He sucked, and honestly, so did Oweh.

Chandler was the only bright spot tonight

[Kingslayer07]

He's a clown. Just ignore him.

[BlueWorldOrder74]

Well, is it safe to say Oweh is just not that good? I feel like it’s safe to say that. I mean, he’s ok, good, strong role player. Ok?

[JakeKx]

Noah didn’t even see the floor tonight

[ChicagoCat90]

Make sure everyone locks up their couches tonight. The Super Bowl has been won!

[anon1777473514]

Haven’t seen a #1 seed in 11 years when the tournament rolls around . We aren’t getting one of those again this year.

I still think we can. We are really good. We have gotta be better planning and preparing for games. We should have been able to win this game. That’s why it’s upsetting

[BlueBlood96Cat]

It's amazing to me that as much as we paid for this roster, we couldn't get Ament, Wilson, Lewis, Brown, Dent, or Wilkerson.

Pope paid a fortune for this team of second-tier targets.

And each one of those guys are going to bust our *** this year.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

So the 6.5 was fairly accurate LOL

Really pathetic to be honest all the money spent. He better hope he can get players like Stokes and Collins next year.

[chattanogawildcat]

The NBA scouts got in Oweh's head and took him away from what he does best.

[cornbreadnmilk]

Oweh concerns me. Afraid he thinks he needs to show out for. NBA

[bleedsblue5]

Aberdeen is our best player. The rest is tbd

[Hoskins91_rivals]

Find somebody and get a hug.

I expected us to lose this. This won’t affect my night or week at all. I just enjoy all the delusional people on here.

[JakeKx]

What a fng joke

[TheBlueMist]

UL played (probably) their best game of the season at home versus a rival. It happens. The 97-98 Cats lost to an inferior UL team as well. UK fans were thinking the season was over after that loss too.

[kyjeff1]

We had a chance and choked it away. The missed front end by Lowe was the final nail.

Lowe and Oweh forced a lot of plays that turned into turnovers, or missed shots. That has to change. Need those guys to be so much better.

[MbergCat]

He sucked, and honestly, so did Oweh.

Chandler was the only bright spot tonight

Aberdeen would like a word.

[Colts240]

Neutral court we smoke them in march with jq
