Kentucky @ Louisville Game Thread

[CUJO_1970]

Lowe’s brick from the FT line absolutely killed any chance we had to win.

What a damn shame. You are our motherflipping primary guard, you CAN’T freaking miss that shot.

[Vek96]

The defense just sucks.

Also, chokers missing front ends of free throws.

[kyjeff1]

Did you notice that most were wide open?

Welcome to the game of basketball. Even Houston gives up wide open looks.

You guys are trying way too hard to be critical. Way too hard.

[UKWildcats1987]

Too little too late. Appreciate the fight. But there are no moral victories here.

This.

I saw someone said Pope has coached great tonight. We were down 20 at one point. Bizarre analysis IMO.

[gbl97]

Garrison and Oweh back. Waving the white flag.

[loublue22_rivals308424]

preseason conference player of the year on the bench for crunch time

[Rainmaker]

Lowe cost us this game.

That’s laughable. His plus minus way better than some. One missed front end does not equate to losing the game.

[Kattonik]

Turns out, Oweh didn't play tonight.

vegas knew something

[kywildcat1021979]

This is UK we don’t do moral victories here.

[kyjeff1]

Cam. Williams. Thats how.

He has 5 points. No

[UKCowboys]

We have missed a few open shots that will cost us a chance to come back from 20 down to pull it out, but it doesn't change the fact that tge team fought like Hell the last 10 minutes

[CoffeeCat]

Don’t worry when Lowe gets back we’ll be unstoppable, oh wait

[philstat]

Lowe’s missed FTs, bad shots and decision making killed us.

[cornbreadnmilk]

Welcome to the game of basketball. Even Houston gives up wide open looks.

You guys are trying way too hard to be critical. Way too hard.

And you are trying too hard with your rose colored glasses.

[Vek96]

Thank you boys for showing some fight!

Screw that. They’re being paid a lot of money. The defense sucked, And choked on free throws and can’t rebound. Zero excuses.

[Hoskins91_rivals]

Hold me to understanding only one team wins the tourney and that beating the same team three times is hard. Laugh!!!’ You can do better. Maybe not.

“Only one team wins the tourney so it’s okay we never had a legitimate chance of winning it in the first place”. Again, I’m just saying he has t proven **** yet. He can still prove it, but people acting he’s done something are basically cheering on late period tubby.

[philstat]

We should have pressed them the entire game.

[loublue22_rivals308424]

then their freshman scores 5 in a row including 3-3 from the line to pretty much seal it. thought that missed FT garbage left with Cal

[Farsight Clone]

WHY IS GARRISON IN THE GAME????? WE CAME BACK WITY MORENO

[darkshadesofblue]

Missed FT was the same as a turnover

[UKBB4Ever]

Natural court and jq we beat Louisville by 10 plus this was there Super Bowl they won’t play this good rest of the year

Not with this same effort.

[JakeKx]

4 on 1 for the rebound and our soft asses give it away

[Colts240]

Why the ref clapping **** him

[KyLegacyBBN]

Getting owned on the boards. Where is Moreno?

[kywildcat1021979]

We better not lose to I U

Yep Pope has already gotten strike 1 with this one and that would be strike 2

[philstat]

FRU with some massive rebounds tonight.

[BlueBlood96Cat]

Well that’s it. Louisville kicked our *** beginning to end. That’s all that can be taken from this game.

[Vek96]

Can’t get a rebound on missed free throws. Embarrassing

[Pensacola_Cat]

Can’t get a rebound

[Son_Of_Saul]

$22 million dollar roster that gives up 100 to Louisville. Inexcusable.

[RunninRichie]

Here come the moral victory boys

[LineSkiCat14]

Feels like we didnt see much of Moreno, but I thought he looked decent and had the size we needed for these rebounds.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

I don't know people keep bringing up the money.

As if that was somehow going to change things lol

[JakeKx]

Already despise this team because you can’t fix effort and being dumb

[bbnkat02]

Yep. I appreciate the fighter who doesn't lose on his knees . But championships aren't won in moral victories.

We earned the L. We have to live with it. UofL was the better team tonight.

Aw gee shucks guys. Pope coached a great game because we ONLY lost to a team that has no frontcourt. I’m a better fan than everyone else because I’m clapping my hands while we get demonstrably outcoached

[Pensacola_Cat]

Beat in ever facet

[Kingslayer07]

He has 5 points. No

We were down what, 14 when he came in?? Cut it to 4 with him in the whole time.

[Colts240]

Same ref that clapped called it out on kentucky

[UKDC80]

What does Garrison do?
