Ok. Point taken. I’m still not happy at all by what I watched. It was ugly *** basketball.
You mean the Cal offenses that got bumped from the first round of the tournament?
No Lamont butler or Kobe Brea. Even Otega looks like he has taken a step back. Injury still slowing him?
I could imagine with the number of big games this team is scheduled to play, Nichols really doesn't excite anyone.
As far as laughing after turnovers, some people just react differently than others.
I have a hard time believe guys don't care. Not when I have heard all freaking off season long about how competitive these guys are with one another.
But we aren't losing this game. We are probably going to win this game by around what was expected when it's all said and done.
This is the same team that wrecked Purdue? What's changed? Same players. If you are saying they are trash were you saying that during the Purdue game? If not, then you analysis is just based on one game performance. Calm down and let the adults talk.
I completely agree with that. I mean we looked like crap. That first half if it wasn't UK I'd have changed it.

I'm not sure what happened, but I'm okay with starting back out a s a freshman (wish I could go back to my freshman year in college...LOL)

Just look at Cal's early teams even. Even the ones that had success people criticized because a lot of our offense was a missed shot, an offense board and a put back.

JL is a difference maker. He is the drink stirrer. He needs to come back when he's 100%. He also needs to stay healthy after he comes back. Jasper is looking like a potential future replacement but that won't happen this year.

He had the second best transfer class in the country. There are _tons_ of teams that would give their left nut for our transfer class. Not a good argument.

He is average. But how do you improve his play? By giving him play time in games where he can play.

But Nicolls was kenpom 167th last year. Middle of the road. A lot of the same roster returns, a lot of seniors. They beat LSU last year, lost to Maryland by like 7. Hung with MissSt.
I think were doing about what we should be doing to a team like this. Were doubling them up right now. Probably shouldnt expect a 40pt win, unless we are looking at the bottom 25% of the league, especially with some injuries, and its game 1.

Looks like Pope broke a foot off in someone’s hind parts at the half. Or he gave them stickers and ice cream.
