Hypothetically speaking here since you know we aren't beating Oregon or USC, anyway, but let's say we did happen to go 10-2.

The CFP committee isn't so bought off by the SEC that they'd leave Iowa out. Hopefully, you can deal with that when the time comes, since this isn't the first or second time you've complained about Iowa losing to Iowa State as being the reason they will be kept out of the CFP. :D :D :D :D 🤷‍♂️
You're a weird little dude. I'm not complaining about anything. Just stating facts when other people complain about ISU being a no win game and toss out nonsense about it being ISU's Super Bowl. Makes Iowa fans sound like Nebby fans. Iowa has lost 2 games so far. One of them a close loss to the number 1/2 team in the country. If they don't lose to a very mid ISU, they are undoubtedly ranked in every poll already, and likely in the top 15 at 7-1. That's a fact.

With regards to the CFP, they would still have needed to go 3-1 in the final 4 games to get in. That's perhaps unlikely, but has a much higher likelihood than going 4-0 which is what they are facing today. I also disagree with your assessment that Iowa can't beat USC or Oregon. That's simply an opinion, which I doubt most people on here share with you. They have a chance in every game.

I think we beat Oregon but Kirk sucks in the PTZ.

Lies. I'm taller than you.

I'm not complaining about anything.
Also lies......
Just stating facts
Are the facts in the room with us?........
when other people complain about ISU being a no win game and toss out nonsense about it being ISU's Super Bowl. Makes Iowa fans sound like Nebby fans.
Okay......
Iowa has lost 2 games so far.
You don't say!!!

Yeah........................and?
With regards to the CFP, they would still have needed to go 3-1 in the final 4 games to get in. That's perhaps unlikely, but has a much higher likelihood than going 4-0 which is what they are facing today.
Yeah, but that's not why you keep saying our loss to Iowa State is why we're not gonna make the CFP.
I also disagree with your assessment that Iowa can't beat USC or Oregon. That's simply an opinion, which I doubt most people on here share with you. They have a chance in every game.
Nah, that was just me putting words in your mouth to see how you'd react (i.e. where you stood on Iowa's chances against those teams).

Fishing for information is another way of putting it. It's an interrogation tactic. ;)

P.S. BTW, in none of that did you explain why Iowa State beating us keeps us out of the CFP. You need to be a bit more detailed in explaining why.....like for example, as you suggested, because you think it's more likely that we go 3-1 in this final stretch, than 4-0, which would put us at 9-3. (Even though we could also point to the self-inflicted mistakes in the Indiana game.........)

You also didn't bother to address my hypothetical of a 10-2 Iowa team......at all.

It's a simple question. Is a 10-2 Iowa team in the CFP?

If your answer is no, btw......you're wrong.

That was the jist of my argument.

Now then, let's try this again.......................

I have to say, as hard as Texas fought back last week against Mississippi State, they tried just has hard this week to give the game to Vandy in the final 2 minutes.

Instead of kicking an easy FG to go back up by 8. ASU goes for the jugular and the pass is batted down at LOS. ASU still up 5

Scary stuff at Iowa State ASU game. ISU receiver collapsed coming off the field after a hard hit and hasn’t moved since. 🙏

Sims has more turnovers than games played. Doesn't sound terrible if he were a freshman being thrust into action, but he's played 40? games. Oof.

ASU is so stupid for going for it on 4th when they could have got a chip shot FG to go up 27-19. Now the worthless clowns are marching down the field with their usual nickel and diming garbage.

Clowns lose for the 4th time in a row, and lost their best offensive skill player in Brahmer. Things are imploding in Ames.

And they would have had a better chance of being 10-2 without losing to L'ames CC. And yes, I know that is the point you have been trying to make. Evil Monkey is Fran's gay alter ego.

Interesting development with Michigan State. Will we see Chiles play in Kinnick?

Losing to the Clones was tough, but since then they have dropped off and the Hawks have gotten better which as been true in the KF era. Lets hope this coninues for both teams, albeit the Hawks start the meat grinder part of the schedule next saturday.
