Fran usually does but some on here haven’t been too nice to him lately.
Has Hannah had any shots 5+ feet from the hoop? Not needed tonight but it won't always be so easy for her to make lay-ups.
I’m most impressed with Heiden HS Rodriguez and chit chat. Heiden has a double double and Hannah is two rebounds away.
It's going to be hard to keep Rodriguez out of the starting lineup - she's the real thing.

I’m impressed with Ashland for a d2 women’s team. They are sound. Just way undersized.

She’s already our best one on one offensive player
Obviously not the WNBA level of skill players...but much better officiated even if it's an exhibition.

Lexi Howe should be playing D1. Good on both ends. Cute too.
Jan needs to work on Addie Deal's confidence. She was by far the most nervous. Our frontcourt is a war tank. Rodriguez has the potential to have a 16-18 PPG season. Our defense needs to improve. A D2 team playing the way they want to. Our girls need to be tougher and less soft. Overall, I was excited about the team. We need some adjustments, but the potential is there.
Yeah, there seemed to be a lot of getting beat off the dribble. And not just the bigs. And help was frequently too slow. I’m sure the coaches will address that.
Hannah? You are crazy. National POY potential. 37 minutes a game.
Smooth as silk. Turnovers were all nerves. Plays with her head up. Gonna be a great one.
The fans that expected her to finally develop an outside shot after she didn't for the first three years were "wishful thinking".
Against taller teams...Ava will be the inside threat.
Hannah is just offensively challenged away from the hoop.

Rodriguez looks good. I thought Rodriguez had worked on her conditioning and skills in the offseason and boy does she look good. HS Rodriguez and Heiden will win us a lot of games. Chit chat, Fuerbach, and McCabe appear to be your backcourt. McCabe looks ready to take a step forward this year. Deal especially early on didn’t appear to be ready for the quickness at this level. Feet in quicksand a bit. It looked better in the last few minutes of the game and her last shot was a sweet stroke. Like McCabe the defense will be what holds her back early in her career, but I’m sure she will keep working on it. Hayes is a tank, she will continue to get better. I’m assuming Teagan got injured, must have missed that. Only other note is both Levin and Houston were solid in their minutes played. I could see both carving out a role.

Boy Teagan got whacked. Sounds like ankle injury and was struggling putting pressure on on it. As of now Jan didn’t act like it was a significant injury.
I disagree that Deal was raw.. like Jan said in the presser, got over anxious on her drives in the first half.. makes the right play and Jan said she’d have 8 assists. Settled in during the second half offensively and lead the team in assists.

A confident Taylor McCabe is a good thing to see.
It is funny people saying that she won't make in impact playing this season after like three minutes on the floor in an ex game. I'll take that bet. She has the tools, the resume, and the toughness. How about we give her a few games. I rememeber in the first few minutes of the McDonlds AA game she looked out of place and then she settled in and totally looked like she belonged with the nations top players.
Unfortunatley I did not get to see the game, but was wondering about comments. I saw the McDonalds game and was really impressed and thought she would contribute this year. From some comments I thought maybe she had gained a lot of weight and this "slowed her down" etc. Evidently that is not the case. Hey, this was just the start and practically a scrimmage. I would think she contributes quite a bit.
