In all fairness to Thomasville, their offense was revamped after Forbush to try to compensate for losing their quarterback and best player, CJ Dickerson. I said all year though, that they played to the level of their competition. Comparing scores is meaningless.
I do believe that MA will win this game. But if they allow Draughn’s QB to have a good game, Draughn can definitely win.

Mitchell high school is around 2,808 ft.
I'd say though Mitchell county highest peak it higher than Avery's highest that Avery high school and stadium is probably the highest in the state @ 3,727ft next would probably be Watauga high school 3,176 ft.

But the view from Mitchell stadium is amazing! When we played up there last season I was struck by how scenic it was.

I didn't like that hike up the road to the stadium though😂

Yeah true it's does have a pretty view. When they use the drone camera for the hype videos It really shows it off.
I park in handicap on the practice field behind the press box and sit in a camper chair on the concrete slab up there, no way I could go up them steps anymore.
Boosters park up there as well but I've some games this year where that field was full the parking lot plus the parking at the Senior center as you pull in so they had park some on the baseball field don't ever remember seeing that before.
Obviously we haven't anything else to do on Friday nights in Mitchell county 😆

I’ll take the comparing games a step further. Draughn beat TVille 19-14. TVille beat Forbush 26-14. Forbush got beat by East Surry 52-6. East Surry beat MA by 2. So after all my calculations , I’ll say MA by 17-24

Key to the game will be how the linebackers and dbacks tackle. Weakness for Eastern Randolph I thought. MA backs break tackles and secondary for MA are pretty good.

Did you factor in that Thomasville was playing a 275 pound defensive tackle at quarterback versus Forbush?🤣

You may be right. I was thinking the next game was when he first started. The point is the same. A converted wide receiver in his first game at quarterback. Combine that with seven knee injuries and five ankle injuries this year and it’s meaningless to compare early games with Thomasville in the playoffs. Totally different team that played Draughn.

Yeah I was proud it was a good clean hit on one of the interceptions I am about to pull out from under you eastern idiots and pull for Draughn they honestly could win it all, a few of their fans kill it for them. Draughn is a very talented cocky team very capable of mopping the floor with whomever they meet

I like the MA posters we had a hoot last year the Tarboro folks were ok too except one he was a giner lol, I'm pulling for the west all the way I dont think Tarboro can get it done this year just my ten cents it would be nice for a WHC team to bring it back Draughn players tell your posters on here to stop being douche bags and we might pull for you lol

Need WRH in the same class as Tarboro to keep them honest. They get a cake walk to the championship. East Surry has a few good years and they move them to 2a

I say Tarboro, y’all say Vikings! TARBORO! Just messing with you guys, good luck to both teams this week, looking forward to seeing who comes out of the west. The last Mt Airy team that Tarboro played may have gotten beat, but they were a really good football team that year. See you guys at Carter Finley Stadium next weekend.
