This is worst defense over seen in my life. Fire everyone after the game period. App is not even this good. **** is wild
Yea, posters in message boards never say anything stupid. Especially the UNC guy that gave up in the 1Q and went out to cut his grass.
I don't know who you're talking about because I certainly wasn't thinking it'd be blowout.
The ones on offense don't look bad though.
That's Chizik. This is who he's been for...a long time. He's not the savior everyone expected him to be.
relieved to have survived that game. Maye is outstanding, but 40 points allowed in the 4th quarter is as bad as you’ll ever see.
My guy he won a national title... He's gotta have better defense then this. App is not a team that should be within 21 pts of UNC talent... Any word on Conley? We gotta shore up this secondary....
Not great; not terrible. Just above average DC imo. You have to remember, he had Malzahn and Newton at Auburn. It's been a while since he coached a good defense. Defense will prob get better. It'd be hard for them to get worse with the talent on that side of the ball. Take some time. I'm just not a fan of that vanilla, bend-but-don't-break scheme against today's offenses. Gives up a lot of yards, as we saw today. Not sure about Conley.
Yea hate this vanilla type defense. Just not sure what's going on. The big white boy playing NT and not playing shaw at all. Think he had zero snaps. We can't stop the run or put any pressure on the QB. Two five stars on the sidelines watching. It can't get any worse, throw the talent in there an let them work. I'm no coach but geez doesn't seem hard to understand. We will get embarrassed by a decent team with this defense. Btw drake is a legit 1st Rd QB talent

Wait until you see NC State/Va Tech’s boards on their ‘blowout” talk regarding games against ECU/ODU.
I could imagine Virginia Tech. Heck you should seen of TN fans after Georgia St. You have to give App St respect. They played several power 5 schools to close

Vohasek isn't a NT. Tried to tell people last year. Look at DL in the SEC. You need space-eaters for what we were trying to run. And unfortunately ours were young and inexperienced. Gonna have to coach them up now. Can't waste all that talent.

He's a tweener. Pad level is too high. And he doesn't have great feet. But roll with what you got, I guess! Shaw is probably about 20-25ish north of where he needs to be. That's why you load up on as many of those guys as you can.
Not trying to throw Vohasek under the bus there. Is what it is. And making a D1 roster is a huge accomplishment in and of itself.

Carolina’s OL might have improved this year but can’t tell. Neither Florida A&M or App State was a defensive challenge. Carolina’s 4th quarter defense was a nightmare. There’s talent and it’s not producing.
Their RT had his *** handed to him all day.

Pulling for them. College football is much better when both Florida and FSU are competitive. Crazy how neither are ranked in week 1.

D Line not good and secondary not any better.. they in big trouble
Not sure what's going on with the 5 star recruits. Neither of them touched the field. Hopefully they can turn it around or it's long year lol
