Football INSTANT RECAP: Wisconsin rolls past Rutgers Football 42-7

[ashokan]

Nice shovel pass by Wis.
Never see that at RU

[Rokodesh]

Wisconsin is just a mediocre B1G team but they appear to be getting better whereas we look worse every week.

Missing Powell and Beam very much today

[rucoe89]

I am beginning to see why Penn St parted with Ciarocca.

[drew_diablo]

I wish we had Longo

[rucoe89]

Wisconsin's second string QB is more competent than our starter. SMDH.

[dconifer0]

Embarrassing. Disastrous

Were a joke, and it starts with the coaches.

Kirk’s offense completely unimaginative

Kirk is Greggie’s kinda guy, conservative to a fault.

More and more I’m thinking Greg will not get us over the hump. He plays not to lose. That’s not winning FB

I'm not a Rutgers guy, but I think he will get you over the hump. And I wouldn't even be surprised if Rutgers won this game...

[BossNJ]

Their 2nd string QB is far superior to our 1st string

[kupuna133]

Longo gets the ball to his playmakers in space. Shovel screens, attack the flats to the field side, attacks the middle of the field. We run everything to boundary and within the tackle box.

[RUeric]

3rd down blitz and every DB was playing press coverage except one, which is exactly where the ball went of the conversion. Bad coaching.

[BillyC80]

If you know a blitz is called, why would you give their receivers any room?

[ru109]

We need a QB who can actually throw the ball. Recruit a kid from Forida/Texas/California. I don't care if he's a 2 star kid. They play 7 on 7 year round and can actually throw the ball past 10 yards.

[mildone_rivals]

Smart play by their QB.

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Game is still early and plenty of time left despite the poor start.

[93RUDoc]

great job defense

[ClassOf02v.2]

Defense may have adjusted a bit there….more aggressive.

[NY AGENTMAN]

Time for a safety

[trueyanksfan]

Who's out on D today? Powell? Longerbeam? Now Lewis. Of course Toure. Others?

C’mon. He can throw just fine. We need an OL that can block, which we’ve not had reliably against Nebraska or against Wisconsin, so far. Give AK time, he’s pretty accurate.

[njknightsfan]

At least we are consistent, defense, offense and special teams all stink today so far.

[Rutman514]

I am beginning to see why Penn St parted with Ciarocca.

Same with Minn for AK. See why these guys didn't stick around...

[dconifer0]

Atticus!

[kupuna133]

D did their part. Now it’s time for the o to step up!

[Rokodesh]

Long should not play anymore this season. Kid can't catch a cold

[rurichdog]

Long is awful. Stonehands.

Really. He threw that one on the move that should have been picked, and has thrown a couple already that were totally airmailed.

[mildone_rivals]

I think that’s a fumble.

[BossNJ]

That was a fumble. Got away with one

[RutgersClassof2004]

This sucks

[RUfromNJ]

This kind of stuff got Gleeson fired

[Rufaninga]

Our On-line is brutal today

[kupuna133]

In your own end zone let’s run 3 slow developing plays. Genius!!!

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

Aww man almost a sudden change there on the PR

[mildone_rivals]

Really. He threw that one on the move that should have been picked, and has thrown a couple already that were totally airmailed.

Yeah, because he is running for his life on most pass plays.

[rucoe89]

The interior of Wisky studied Nebraska and is executing perfectly. Kirk Ciaracca looks like he was studying Norfolk St. Flats also deserves some blame now. His OL is just getting abused.

[BossNJ]

Long is awful. Stonehands.

He caught it but it was punched out. He needs stronger hands

[rurichdog]

Long should not play anymore this season. Kid can't catch a cold

Cornerback in his future

[RUeric]

1 man going out on the o-line should not cause this much regression. Change things up if it's not working.

[mildone_rivals]

We just got some help from the officials.

[AdventureHasAName]

This is the worst our coaching staff has gotten its *** kicked in years. It's like every decision has been obviously bad.

[BossNJ]

Our On-line is brutal today

Don’t forget last week
