Agree, and if not for the fact they bailed out Stors with a foul call, I prefer the refs not bail out a player who is out of control. If they were consistent, they should have called a foul there on that Noah move.

Can’t be upset at 34-32 in a vacuum, but geez we had a 24-15 lead, and then sloppy TOs led to Wisky points.

We have 10 TOs overall, and Simpson and JWill each with 3 TOs. They both need to clean that up and take care of the damn ball.

It’s a damn shame too, as he’s got incredible quickness and gets himself open for wide open looks. But he just can’t hit them.

Noah got bumped for sure then clearly hit on the arm of the scoop shot

Getting beyond no respect on that especially when the fouls were already like 9-3 or w/e... it's an easy whistle

Probably not as far as RU being willing to work hard to secure the win. Very winnable game and not a bad 1st half (should have a lead, poor shot selection), as Wisconsin is really on same level as us right now.

And that is part of the coach's job to protect his team, keep the refs honest, and give your team a fair shot to win. I frankly hate Pikes unwillingness to engage the refs. I thought he was getting better early in the year but now that it really counts he's back to "thank you sir can I have another"

Just caught up on the tape...not too bad apart from the 10 TOs, Should be ahead, but the fouls have dashed that plan - not a well-called game as several obvious WI fouls weren't called (9-3 is a bit ridiculous). Game is there for the taking. Like how JW and Gavin played. Not sure on Cliff's shoulder - if he wasn't bad around the rim in general, I would've normally blamed his easy layup miss on that shoulder - he has 2 more blocks though.

Pike’s major flaw is not working the refs.

Unfortunately, this is so true. There are times when a technical foul is a good thing. Pike only has 2 techs in his entire time at RU so not expecting him to take one. I am not one to post about officiating, but that half was not called equally as Wisconsin was allowed to play more physically on both ends. They committed a few offensive fouls that were not called.

Even the replays showed no fouls on at least 2 of them and refs bailed out Whisky 3 times when they were out of control or stuck. And they missed Crowl in the paint for at least 8 seconds.

Pike's record in last 6 games of B1G season plus first game of To journey (his 7 years) is 20-29.
(I left out just the last 7 because they always result in a final game loss).

Take out the first 2 seasons and it is still like 16-19.
