The Wisconsin DB did "great job reading the concept", according to the announcer. Not such a great job, considering the fact that it's almost the only passing concept RU has run all day.

At this point … start planning to run an academy type offense … wishbone … triple option … can’t be much worse than this.

The
We’re going for game manager. Wtf. Kick the damn field goal. You keep it on the ground or only throw to the end zone at absolute worst.
tough spot
No way we run it up the middle for a td, so a pass not the worst idea
You really have to try for a td there somehow
Winds up being the second sideline pass for a pick six this year so maybe not that pass

and away they go into the half with confidence , while Rutgers blows an opportunity
that would have given them confidence but only winds up depressed at the half.

Schiano is a ****ing moron for not calling a timeout after the run to the 4

Gavin was literally milking the clock with 10 seconds left before the throw
IF YOU THINK HE WASNT TOLD TO MILK THE CLOCK BY SCHIANO YOURE A MORON

30 SECONDS TWO TIMEOUTS

YOU CAN RUN ANY PLAY

RUN THE BALL FOR 3 YARDS TO THE 1 TIMEOUT

DECIDE WHAT TO DO AT THE 1 STILL WITH ANOTHER TIMEOUT

ITS ******* BASIC AND ITS SCHIANO FOOTBALL 101

I honestly don’t think Schiano wanted that play call . On TV you can see him just before the play he looked nervous…. That’s one place where you keep it on the ground, take a shot in the end zone then take the 3

Our QB never looks off another receiver. He literally turned his body toward Dremel and stood there looking at him only. The other team doesn’t have to play defense. They just wait to see where he is staring and go in that direction.
So if the coaches know that, why would you put your primary receiver as far away as possible in that situation. Call something Gavin can run better.

This is what happens when you wait until the all of the other offensive coordinators get hired to get your hand picked OC to call your plays.
And this is why Wagner is a staple on our schedule. Not just any FCS. Basement FCS.

Good damm it!!!! HS HCs calls time out if they don’t like the vibe from a play call.

Two bad decisions in a row. Should have kept the run. He had a lot of daylight ahead of him.
