Upsets happen. We, as fans, should not frown upon schools from lower / lesser conferences. Kids on all teams can play. We see it every year in the ncaa s. Didn’t we lose to Lafayette ? Go to overtime with Lehigh etc? Never take a team lightly.

I saw that, but this one is a little deceptive as WMU hit a 3 with 0.7 seconds left to get that close. Gophers were up 7 with 16 seconds to play. Still... these all show how dangerous the first games can be.

Lost to Wagner in OT. Their next 4 games are Villanova, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, and St. Johns. They could very well be 0-5 as they carve their Thanksgiving turkey.
Football is 3-6 and looking pretty solid for 3-9 with a tough schedule remaining. Not the best of times there.

I am not changing my thoughts about our game 1 bit. I think back to us last year. We had a shock to the system and it pushed forward rotation changes that made us better instantly.
