I guess my question is is he really a “big man”. Fonseca said RU won’t pursue a big because they got Woolfolk. But at 6 7 or 6 8 he looks more like a power forward to me. And yes I get that the game has become more and more like the European game but still I think in the Big Ten you need legit big men that are 6 9 to 7 foot. In any case I like the get. He’s a big strong dude who will do the dirty work. You can’t not like bringing in that type of player to a pike team.

He’ll be a 5. That’s the way college hoops is going now.

I see him as a 4. With some match-up exceptions (e.g., Cockburn), the game no longer requires a 5 if you’ve got legit players around the 4.

It's reasonable to wonder why a player who goes against some of the top prep talent in Ohio and went against guys like Jalen Duren at Peach Jam hasn't garnered more offers. It's not like we found him in some back gym like we did with Myles Johnson. Plenty of coaching staffs around the country have seen him play but he only has offers from us, Cleveland State, and Cal Bakersfield?

It's also reasonable to give Pikiell and the staff some benefit of the doubt.
I think that is very reasonable. We shall see.

I'll make an educated guess he is a good dude, will be a good teammate and has a work ethic. Couple your analysis and the fact he is here it only makes sense.

If he is a 4 then he needs to be a threat from the perimeter. Can't have 2 guys on the floor that wont take and make 3s (UNFORTUNATELY). I'll bet at least 1 of Antwone and Cliff will be perimeter threats by 2022-23 the latest.

I was able to find that Woolfolk shot 8-12 67% from the FT line hooping this summer.
But, neither Cliff nor Woolfolk project as the next Kevin Durant.

Woolfolk will, however, be the guy that opposing centers will not be able to back down in the paint to get to the hoop. He’s already listed at 250 lbs.

Im wondering how much development will occur his senior year and on the AAU circuit with exclusive focus on basketball. Could be considerable. Also already has the build and can board/play D.

Similarities to a few years ago ... Don Bosco football TE Marcellus Earlington to St. John’s basketball. Who has since transferred to the University of San Diego.

This is my concern with Woolfolk, his tape has me on the fence. Like he looks like his post game is good, has some nice moves, finishing, and patience. But he doesn't seem to be twitchy, seems to be a step slow, and I don't know if he has the size/speed to play at this level. It feels like he would be like a kid like Ralph. Where you send him to the C-Usa/MWC and he is a pretty good player, but the B10 may be a bit much. Hope I am wrong
