Tonight cemented two things. 1) B1G got embarrassed by Big East in the Gavitt games, so very possible the conference will get fewer teams into the tournament than expected. 2). #1 doesn’t matter cause we ain’t sniffing the bubble.
Lost by 3 and took 27 less free throws than the other team. Idk how that’s badly coached really. Players can’t call their own fouls at this level
Tough loss on the road one sided officiating.
I do not like this style of offensive basketball. I didn't like it the last two years and I still don't like it.
It was like this all last year with all different refs. We don’t shoot FTs because we don’t draw fouls.
Tournament? Long long way to go. At least the BIG is much weaker. Problem is the league won’t get as many teams in.
We needed this loss. It's been a poor lazy start to the season. Maybe this kicks things into gear.

Fracking sick of pikes inability to do anything... ANYTHING but give Baker the ball we n Ed g as me like that. No D1 Coach can be in that shallow on coming up with be something different. Ron just made the last 2 3s.
This is an awful team. We have no one that can get inside. No mid range shooters. Defense is horrific. Can't steal, can't transition after a miss. Just awful basketball making DePaul look like we're playing Kansas.

No game should ever have a 21-13 disparity in fouls, especially when one of them (RU) is scoring mostly inside. That's what led to the 33-6 disparity in FTs, which is just wrong. Yeah, we didn't play that well, but the refs didn't help.

Hes always hyped up every team hes had. Hes overly optimistic and exaggerates alot. Its just who he is
That practice facility seems to be paying for itself for both basketball teams. Sheesh.

We saw Pike's suspect coaching last season. This confirms it. We have gone as far as we can with him/ Poor game coaching and recruiting

Yeah the preseason fanfare is what bothers me. Team hasn’t passed the eye test all year.
Rotations poor, too much Paul/Caleb on the floor at the same time (mostly Caleb), no one to turn to from the Mag/Reiber/Palmquist class, Agee an obvious miss, coming out slow in the first half, lazy defense & rebounding, and if you’re angry about the foul discrepancy, work the damn refs.

They’re not poorly coached. They just don’t have anyone who can dribble drive to the basket. They miss JY even with his flaws.
