Does anyone have tips for how to watch the Olympic freestyle team compete? Are there brackets available somewhere or is it round robin? The Peacock app leaves a lot to be desired. I think one of our women advanced to the finals today.

Best advice I can give is follow USA Wrestling on Twitter. And put on notification alerts so you don’t miss a tweet. There are brackets not round robin. I usually find them on Twitter also.

-Go to nbcolympics.com
-type "wrestling" into the search box
-(You may be required to sign in using your cable provider info.)
- Click on "Live and Upcoming" tab
- The events are listed with the starting time in Tokyo which is 11 hours later than our time. So, the next event is listed as (9:00am EDT on 8/2 but it begins at 10pm tonight (Sunday 8/1)
- There are 3 mats and no way to view more than one mat at a time, so you have to choose between Mats A, B, or C.
- Each night there are 3 weight classes competing and each will remain on the same mat throughout the evening.
- I also read that you can view live coverage on Youtube but I haven't tried it out.

I'd like to keep an eye on how Kyle Dake is doing. Found this throw on twitter. Pretty awesome.

Camacho-Quinn just won the women’s Olympic 110 meter hurdles over USA Toni Harrison. Her brother is the DE NFL football star and her mom was a track star at Somerville High School in the mid 1980’s. We inducted her in 2019 into our Athletic Hall of Fame. Her daughter ran for Puerto Rico.

Too many station's feeds are horrible. I think we had better video transmission when we landed on the moon in '69. How can NBC suck this much?

ESPN's coverage of the nationals at least showed each mat live. It was tough to tell who was on what mat and when, but at least you could find it. The Peacock app has two highlight videos and an archive of the trials. It really stinks.

I’m confused with the men’s freestyle wrestling schedule. Did they have the first couple of rounds last week and I have off until Wednesday when the semi finals begin?

The schedule that I saw had different weights on different days, so it was spread out. Greco was going first although there are days when they are wrestling both greco and freestyle. I'm guessing that greco will be further into their brackets.

I finally found wrestling on regular TV and set the DVR. Tamyra Mensah-Stock won gold at 8:30 am today. Square her off against the gold medalist in taekwondo and/or judo. My money is on Mensa-Stock.

I’m actually glad to get Greco out of the way. I try to enjoy it but my interest in watching six minutes of T-Rex arms in hopes of catching the occasion big throw is limited.

Gillman has a horrible draw.

Taylor beats Myles Amine of San Marino and UMich 12-2. Gave up quick 2 then just dominated. Taylor moves on to semis.

Helen on a tear to get back to semi finals. She looks real slick right now.

tough break for Gilman. First off, putting him on the shot clock was absolutely criminal. Multiple aggressive shots and controlled center of the mat. But give credit to the Russian hitting that sick leg sweep with seconds left after Gilman switched leg positions.

Dake wins his first match 4-0. In complete control as Iranian wrestler never tried an offensive move.

Dake loses 11-0. Wow. Gave up big points off of counters as the wrestler from Belarus used Dakes aggression against him.

I know the kid comes off as arrogant in the past but I gotta tell ya it was a breath of fresh air to hear his interview and his obvious love of country and family and hats off to Gable Stevenson for showing us what we all know to be true ..never give up..never stop til the whistle blows and his obvious pride in wrestling for the greatest country in the world and not being afraid to say it and show it ...congrats Gable Stevenson !

Our wrestlers did fine. Gilman bronze, Dake bronze, Taylor gold, Snyder silver and Stevenson gold. Not too bad for the men.

Nick never wrestled Gilman at the trial cause he tested positive so he was out. It would have been an interesting bout. Remember when Nick won the French tournament Gilman might have been 3rd. Nick beat the guy who beat Gilman

Give Gilman and Hildebrandt ton of credit both won bronze after losing last second heartbreakers That would’ve put them in the gold medal match
