pike dialing up Ron in the PnR again. Good adjustment by Pikiell in the tournament so far

Because these loud-mouth jerkoffs on the other side are acting like it's the Superbowl and have been through the roof all game. Good for Paul for putting batboy in his place. Refs are soft as ****.
Someone posted the racial angle here and it got deleted my mods .

I am in disbelief that there are folks defending the refs making that call against a team you purportedly root for. Yeah Rutgers has sucked but siding with B1G refs over your guy getting fired up is sad.
It's what makes this board unreadably infuriating at times. Too many clowns trying to one up one another in the "bigger man" competition going on in their Geritol addled heads.

Well, at least we're no longer being totally embarrassed. I think people know I don't often get on the refs, but there have just been a few really bad calls - and yes, we have fouled them more than they have, no question, just have an issue with these calls: the 3rd foul on MJ was a good block, the T on Paul was ridiculous and the foul there on JY on the steal, which was a BS call ended up being a 4-pt. play. Yes, they've been better, but they're also getting a bit of help.

They don't call it for nothing..have to be smarter
No problem with the T........ as long as you call it both ways. Illy players chirping all game. Call it on both teams early to set the tone or don’t call it at all. Somehow it is always called on us

Totally different game if referring was somewhat favoringIllinois as opposed to being an avalanche favoring Illinois. Hate it.

And the ref waited until JY was half way down court before calling it

Like the high ball screens for JY. Gotta set them far enough out to give space

Myles Johnson has played 5 minutes 13-5 fouls in first half at one point and somehow we’re down just 13 to a NCAA #1 seed. Illinois only 4 baskets in the second half so far.Credit to these guys for fighting
