End of half sequence was on PIke. Call your TO (you lose it anyway) and get Geo back in the game. JY is our most turnover prone guy and we put the ball in his hands.

Spot on. Or maybe run your best set instead of high pick and roll which is predictable . Call a timeout to set something up .

The t was a crap call . I do blame him for the turnover and dumb foul. When you turn it over sprint back .

Young was bad this half but that was not technical worthy in a tie game 4 seconds before half. Ref need to do a better job understanding the game and the players playing them.

No it wasn't. But the official called it and effed us.

Was there any explanation on the technical?

Not really, replay showed JY bumping the Minn player then putting his hands up and saying something, can't tell what. When the Minn player was shooting the FTs and Pikiell was holding JY back you can clearly hear him say "but I didn't say that" . So he said something, but we don't know what and whatever it was the ref was offended by it.

The point is he had no reason to be trying to dribble through the D when we should be holding for the last shot. That dumb decision is what led to the TO and his foul and the T. Agree that I didn't see why the T was called, but we dont know what JY said either. He's had a pretty uneven game with 4 TOs to go against those 9 points, but I don't most want him to sit - we just want him to play smarter and under more control.

I’m sorry but this team is in desperate need of scoring. While JY doesn’t always have “it” he’s one of the few players capable of getting hot and filling it up. The disappearance of Ron necessitates this even more — a winnable, pivotal home game is not the time to dish out a lesson

This whole team does outside of Paul Mulcahy. Basketball isn't supposed to be this hard.

Paul had the WORST TURNOVER% of the 8 man rotation. Paul had a GREAT eye for passing. But these sweeping genralizations where the data contradicts it is just getting old.

Stop ripping on Jacob. Frankly, though Harper and Baker can at times be our most prolific scores, Jacob and Paul are the heart and soul of this team. Wouldn't be **** without them.

Gotta get back to feeding the post like we were doing early on. Too many times, our guards look off an isolated player posting up or rolling in. Get to the hoop using teamwork, not 1v1 heroics, and we can win.

MN was making some crazy baskets in the first half, shooting 70% from the field over one stretch. That won’t continue but the D needs to figure out the rotations and keep the pressure up. And we need to get more rebounds on both ends.

Same stuff, different game.

When JY splits two defenders, his arm gets grabbed and fouled often but rarely gets the foul call but always gets the frustrated dumb foul on him after the TO/missed foul. I'd say 50% of JY's TOs are missed foul calls on the defender.
