I remember Alamo Al used to post. I think he either lived in Flanders or it might be that he was Flemish.
Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago.

He sat like 4 rows behind me, would say nothing the whole game and wound only chant on FGs by Ito. When he’d make the FG or the XP our guy would make a terribly thought out statement for Ito like “ the verdicts in!” orb”Here comes the Judge”. More like go eat some fudge. The whole section would look and just give this stare. Priceless.
Ito’s (now) father in law sits in that section. But he’s a great guy and not remotely fat, so it’s probably a different person.

Last time I saw Higgins was at the USF game in Tampa.
Higgins had a routine where he’d chug two beers after a Rutgers score as people yelled his name. The only thing was after a few TD’s he’d start missing his mouth, and if it was a high scoring game, he’d basically just throw the beers on himself by the end.

So I take my girl to the Papa John’s bowl. Higgins is one or two rows in front of us and ends up pouring beer all over her. Even though he was annihilated, Higgins couldn’t have been more of a gentleman... apologizing nonstop, getting napkins, etc.

My gf is just screaming at the top of her lungs at me. “You drag me to f***ing Birmingham and now this sh*t?!?! Blah, blah, blah.” She wanted me to fight that whole crew, but those guys were awesome. I couldn’t stop laughing, which probably didn’t help the situation.

Higgins randomly set up across me from in the blue lot, maybe 1 or 2 years ago. I mentioned the story and he said “sounds about right.”

Would love to see return of a full stadium when the horse (then the team) come out of the tunnels. Tired of it being me and a 100 if my best friends.

How about the poster from the Canadian Arctic? Don't recall why, but he became a very random fan for a year or two.

Wasn't it @Darkkyn with a Y? Yes, it's coming up. And yes I believe he was the one you're referring to, yeah?
As I recall, he (darkage?) would often post his pix from the football game which would always be these amazing close ups.

Pretty sure you're referring to PsychoRUFan, who will still show up around here every once in awhile. He was definitely a good guy - he was one of the original posters who would attend the Rutgersfan tailgates in the late 90s when there really wasn't much to cheer about.

There was a poster that under went a bone marrow transplant maybe in the late 2000s to early 2010s. His username started with an F.

I've always wondered what ever happened to him, if he is alright and if he made it through fine. I hope he did. :praying:

What about the posters complaining about the loud techno music in some tailgates? That was a classic thread. Also waiting for new pics of the stadium “gap”

Wow, nice try, and once again you fail. I was welcomed back to this board well before John left here to go to the other board. I was the one who was run “roughshod” on, bitched about incessantly by four or five posters to the mods, and eventually given an extended suspension because of it. ALL due to me being 100% spot-on about Flood (Both on and off the field of play). Get your facts straight dude.

So which retread of an old moniker, or monikers, are you?

One thing about Nuts...love you or hate you or somewhere in between- there is never a doubt about you being a mega fan and your intentions. We just need to find the right meds for you at times...lol

The Rutgers Football TV show. My favorite part was the segment with players going back to their hometowns. Also, the show had highlights after wins and ignored the games when we lost.

A coaches show on an actual radio station, hosted in the Hale Center with characters like ‘Mo from Hoboken and Sam from Iselin.

Wouldn’t doubt it. Quit NE and bought a house before Ash is fired

haha I'm kidding I have no knowledge that he's bought a house already but wouldn't shock me one iota. I was told that his family was looking for homes already RU in the summer though. These days, coaches houses are serving as hang outs for players and recruiting tools so wouldn't shock me to see him buy a home like the one above. However as we know, GS likes to be within 5 minutes of the facility so doubt he'd go 20 mins away to Warren

Yeah- too bad he wouldn’t go 45 mins away. Would have the perfect home and he wouldn’t even have to repaint the theater room walls. Lol

You hit the nail right on the head. That was he. Also right about the crowd, my daughter and I had only two season tickets, but
my son wanted to come with 3 friends, so I parked right up close, no [parking pass needed, gave him a $20 dollar bill and came back with 4 tickets. And your choice of seats was yours to take, mostly, not the red seats.

The hearing impaired photography guy was “darkage”. He always told stories about his bitchwife which were hilarious.

Unfortunately he passed during the Late Schiano/Flood years. He was only in his 50s. His son was a Freshman during the Toronto Bowl, and was a poster on here.

Whatever happened to BrunswickBob? I think he was from southern NJ somewhere. Was a very level headed poster.

Another one that's been MIA since moving west (Portland, I think?) is lawmatt78.

AshSaturday was a great poster. Loved his stories about dating and kickers. He nailed our current kicker.
