PJ Fleck

[TrueRU]

He has had an average couple seasons at Minnesota. Would be make the jump to RU if it opened up? Row the Boat down the Raritan?

It would be far more uplifting and interesting to listen to him than it is with Ash.

[RRRRUUUU]

Why does everyone like Fleck? He sucks too.

[RU4Real]

Please stop.

[BigLou]

Why would he voluntarily move from Minnesota to Rutgers. For the challenge of taking over a program at the bottom of the toughest division in college football?

I would never donate another penny to Rutgers athletics if RU hired Fleck.

Now you done it, expect half this board to contact Hobbs and recommend for him to hire PJ.
Why you ask???
Because of their thinking: if you don't donate, maybe you won't post.[roll]

[koleszar]

If we hired Fleck my reaction would be the same as when we hired Flood.

Herm Edwards?

Fleck > Ash

[Knight Shift]

Fleck > Ash

So let's hire a higher floating whale turd from the bottom of the ocean? No thanks.

[koleszar]

Fleck is currently in a dogfight with Georgia Southern 28-20 with 8 mins. left. If not for a miraculous catch in the waning seconds he would have lost to Fresno St.. This after his escape from the South Dakota Jackrabbits who outplayed the boat rowers. And this is who you want as your next coach?

Some of the posts and wants on this board are absolutely insane. It's like a game of F, K, M where the only viable choice is to kill them all.

[zappaa]

Block kick... TD

[Knight Shift]

Jeez

Ga Southern just blocked Minny field goal attempt. 28-26.
PJ Fleck is nothing special for what he is paid.

[MURF87]

Fumble returned for TD by GA Southern. Up by 4.

He's now losing 32-28. The boat is taking on water fast.

[zappaa]

Fleck looks miserable
Kighty just loves his yellow tie

[ru109]

God I hope Hobbs is smarter than trying to hire Fleck.

[zappaa]

35-32 Miinny
Kightshift fighting momentary nausea

[DHajekRC84]

Please let him stay out there. A coach we can beat. Him and capt. Kirk.

How did you know? Kohler wind sprint. oop

Georgia Southern blew it.
Had Minnesota at 3rd Down and 30 at the Minnesota 3 yard line.
Blew it.

Feels like how we use to lose games. Now we get crushed

[rufeelinit]

Don't worry unless Fleck is on the verge of getting fired, he is not entertaining leaving Minnesota for RU.

[ScarletCrimson]

Fleck over Ash was a no-brainer.

[JMORC2003]

Fleck is all smoke and mirrors. Charismatic, kids like him because he’s cool and he can connect with them. donors and brass like him because he’s enthusiastic and can talk a big game. But when the rubber hits the road he leaves a lot to be desired.

I give him credit though, he’s made it quite far working what he’s got.

[Scarlet_Scourge]

I hate bye weeks

[MADHAT1]

PJ has Minny 3-0
I'll start knocking him when he starts losing games this year.
Looks like Lance Leipold's star might be fading in the replace Ash department and PJ might start looking like a better choice.:YesNo

Liberty just beat his Bull team and Freeze might start to look like a candidate warts and all.[sick]

[Knight Shift]

Fleck over Ash was a no-brainer.

Except he would not take $ 2million, so let's just put that to bed and forget about it.

[MorrisAsh]

I’m going to start a Lane Kiffin thread.

[zappaa]

How about a Bryan Harsin from Boise thread

[bac2therac]

I would never donate another penny to Rutgers athletics if RU hired Fleck.

See ya

You prefer to watch the doors getting blown off our team?

Was listening to that game on the radio as I drove through GA on my way back from Daytona. Was 21-20 at the half I think then the station fizzled out. Btw, Daytona to Nashville in 9 hours and 15 minutes. 684 miles 74.4 mph average speed. Not to shabby

[rutgersguy1_rivals]

I'd think he's a solid choice but think he's less likely than even Norvell or Littrell....unless he's gonna pull a move like Bronco and move cross country and for a school like us too?

Littrell is 1-2 to start so far..if he has a so so or down year who knows he might be more realistic....Like I've said even with these guys that might be unlikely and are currently hot...one second your hot the next you might not be so maybe take a shot when you have the chance otherwise you might not get another....his buyout though is over a 1M currently. If Helton gets the boot...he and Harrell can reunite here lol.
