must be bad, for the whole staff to be put on leave.
But until we know for sure, it could be NC just not taking any chances because of having NCFB,WBB & MBB under a microscope by the NCAA over fake classes in the investigation that recently ended without NC being sanctioned.
It really sounds pretty bad. It would be kind of unbelievable for her to survive the fake papers scandal and get booted for something completely different.
If they were in the final four, I bet there would be no investigation. This sounds like it could be an excuse to get rid of the coaches because they haven’t been very good over the past few years.
I believe when the Academic scandal was being investigated, North Carolina threw it's WBB program under the bus while defending the NC MBB program.
Think you're right and NC feels it needs a change but getting rid of a HOF HC like Sylvia Hatchell won't be easy , so trying to make it look like she was involved is something wrong and haft to end her career as the HC of North Carolina WBB program.
The 2014-15 (26-9) season could be considered her last good year. the next 3 were losing ones , this year 18-15 and first round exit .
Maybe they found evidence that the coaching staff was requiring the players to go to class?
