you are welcome to have that opinion but I think Pike fell in love with Corey/Freeman..these two are not his type of players...once they are gone he will be able to truly move the program in the right direction. Sure they will show up ocassionaly and give wins and we would have less wins without him..does not mean we are better or moving the program forward with them.
I don't disagree...just pointing out a fact as someone who played the game in as many as 5 leagues at once as a kid...it gets to you and you honestly believe that EVERY call is going against you.
Not having Williams is rearing its ugly head
I didn't realize HOW much the loss of Williams hurt this team until today. Yeah...it hurt the last game too...but the loss' affect on us is glaringly obvious today.
He was a 41% shooter and 28% from 3 in a weaker league. He's going to have to hoist up a hell of a lot of shots to avg 14ppg.
Not to sound petty BUT THAT was a technical foul. Period. You simply CAN NOT hang on the rim as such, for a few seconds with NOBODY near you, to show off. I don't care if the game isn't close, or anything else, that was a stand-along dunk with absolutely zero reason to hand, pull up, then hand some more.
Ok ... 0 for 2 ... wrestling has no chance, but RU has a quad gymnastics meet and hopefully can place 3rd (all teams higher ranked)
We re currently the worst team in the conference now. Williams injury along with teams figuring out that as long as they swarm geo and Corey we don’t have a pulse. Our only shot at another conference win is Illinois. With a strong start to the year and some good performance, we’ll end up with a worse record than last year both in conference and overall. Not good to step backwards in year 2, but Williams injury killed us

For the most part an awful performance. They ought be ashamed at the number of dunks in the second half. Let’s not have any more discussions about attendance not being what it should be either.
Yea, he had his moments, but you know what. If you watch it back, he kept Carr in check who was facilitating everything for them. When Carr was getting going without Souf on him, we were in trouble cuz even when he wasn’t shooting, he was drawing help defense from us.
Final score 60-43 PSU .This is the third B1G game where Rutgers scored less than 50 points and the fifth game with less than 60 points all of which were losses.Its so demoralizing watching the same woeful offense game after game knowing the roster and the games still to be played.
