Man our LB's have been really good against the run tonight, but their pass coverage is severely lacking

I didn't know that. But now that I think about it, you're right. However, I didn't have faith in the coaches to do that after that 3rd down run.

Washington is very good but I think I am more concerned about our QB play than I thought I would be. Similar to last year the defense is worn out by too much time on the field.

Bingo. The running backs and D are cause for optimism but without a slinger it's hard to win anything in CFB.

Would be great for perception and recruiting, as well as team confidence. Kill has got to do more than run the ball on 3rd and short, though. Maybe play action once in a while to keep the D honest and perhaps move the chains?

Bolin can't be forcing a lot of balls into double plus coverage. Recipe for disaster.

Last year, our QBs could not hit a guy in the flat or in stride. How can u not see him in is an improvement? We did not trust our frosh to attempt a pass in entire games.... QB play will be fine this year, is he great? Probably not, but better than what we have had

Game is over but let's face it. You know the QB is limiting you when your opponent is willing to stack the box on an obvious passing 3rd down the fourth quarter.

That roll out pass to Martin for no gain, and 3rd & 3, run up the gut for 1 sums things up. We're much improved, we had an offense for almost a half, but...nah. Not there yet.

you guys you guys are nuts, how in the world could you be excited for the season after watching this game. This game was close we could have pulled this one out and the coaching and play calling sucked which means it's going to suck for the rest of the year

Progress. We beat the spread. We didn't get blown out by a top ten team. You can tell we are improved.

We should be able to win the next two games if we play like this.
