Gettys was a blocking foul. Feet in restricted area. Announcers belong in the "D" group.

Please stop - even his parents wouldn't say he's agile. Yes, he works hard and he has some skill, but c'mon, he can barely jump, he's slow, and he's not quick to the ball if there's a rebound to to be had that he needs to move for.

Gettys is not "athletic"... but I would also say he's pretty agile for a guy his size. He's got pretty good footwork, rarely travels, can actually handle the ball in the open court, and can make drives from the top of the key for layups. He also dives for loose balls, and springs back up from the ground quickly when knocked down. He's never going to have hops, or be able to contort his body in the air... but that's more raw athleticism than agility.

Can't compare his agility to a guard, or even a forward... in the broader sense of "agility", he's low on the scale. But among guys who are 7' tall and 280 lbs, I'd say he's above average in that area.

Minny front line too athletic to be played man to man...it's tougher to rebound when you play zone but might have to mix in zone to slow their frontcourt down.
Let's see how they play the rest of the way because they played 2OT game Wed. night against Iowa, then had to travel to our place. Our bench is deeper, but not better. We will need Sa to play some defense this half--he hasn't played yet.

After Williams missed that 3 (to bring it within 3) I said to myself, we are fvcked. Of course Minny proves me right by draining their next two treys.

They just seem to be too quick for us on loose ball situations and it leads to easy baskets.

Freeman playing "ole" D ... lets people get past him then tries to swat at the ball
from behind...leads to fouls by our centers or an easy pass for a layup as creates a mini- two on one

How can our guys be so bad that they can't even hit the fvcking rim. Is it really that hard, they do practice this sh*t right.

Don't understand this "Minnesota should be tired." These are college kids, and they played an extra 10 minutes 3 days ago? Then they got Wednesday off and easy Friday. And awwww, they had a 3 hour flight to get here!

Thiam had a wide open three and clanked it. That was rough. I get missing a 3, but clanking it makes no sense.

Quite a few 3 points plays for Minnesota ... They are killing RU on the boards. From 6 to 9.
