Can we make 37 pages for this thread?
Why not. We need a distraction around here. Let me give it a try for 37 and beyond. This should do it.

Hey Sox fans, how good did Timmy look last night? That was the most entertainment he has provided all season. We should create a video montage of Sox players getting dropped on the baseball diamond. Anderson along with Ventura and AJ can play the starring roles.

Let's not even talk about Eloy! Truly entertaining.

The team is pathetic. Overturn the whole thing besides Robert. I might also give Cease a chance at redemption. Most in fundamentally sound team in the majors.

First 🍔💣 for Miami yesterday!
For some reason Hahn hitched his wagon to Yoan. Guess no one would take that dog at his salary. Burger can only play 3B and he is adequate at best.

Start by moving TA and Yoan for a bag of balls and we’ll be better.

CSC-got the Marlins in a futures bet for wins at start of year. Want them to keep winning.

Keep TA into next year and then trade. Hopefully his value will go back up. He still has highest BA of any MLB over past four seasons. Flip Beni whenever you can get some value there.

Yoan…bag of balls is right. Why do they let him keep batting left handed. He’s not a switch hitter.

I like burger hut he’s a DH. Not a third basemen except on bad D teams like the Sox.

And I think Colas needs a little time.

What the Sox, and Bears, and Bulls, and now Hawks really need are new and exciting ownership. Followed by new and competent FO, scouting and player development staff.

Yup - let’s celebrate their efforts to get a wild card and early exit this year.

Go Miami and Milwaukee!!!
We are talking about two bad clubs. I concede to Corbi that the White Sox are much worse, but at least we didn’t have Adolis Chapman on the team when the WS got their last championship.

Didn’t know about this one from a couple days ago with Mr. Anderson.

Tim Anderson is a loser. Always has been. You can’t win with selfish guys like that. Take a look at what he did against the Cubs while sliding into 2nd base just a few days back. Way worse than what Ramirez did to him but Hoerner said nothing.

C'mon, Corbi, show some baseball knowledge. Anderson is an ***, but that comparison is stupid. What's the difference between those two plays? What's the job of the person receiving the ball in those two different situations? What is the person sliding trying to do?

Past all that, your boy that you are linking doesn't even get what started the fight right.

Anderson can GTFO, I don't care, but he didn't do a single thing wrong to either Ramirez when he got KO'd or Hoerner on that slide. Using that clip with his slide on Hoerner is hilariously laughable

TA now is willing to move to 2B. Just what we need another 240, 1HR guy at 2B for $14M.

Looks like Bellinger is going to the highest bidder. Cubs could have got some stud prospects for him at the deadline. Trade some prospects for the Polar Bear as he seems to want to leave NY.

Only bright spot for my baseball season was the cubs finish.

WOW MICHAEL HARRIS II

What a crazy finish for the Braves. They’re still alive. (Cubs, Sox and Reds, among others, are not.)

Bad decision by Harper on the base paths. He must have thought he really needed to stretch it to score if that ball had dropped.

Crazy that the two wild card teams that limped into the playoffs (Texas and Arizona) are now rolling through the playoffs. The Rangers lost three of four to the Mariners to finish the season, blowing the division title in the process. They're now mowing through the AL East teams in the playoffs and haven't lost a game yet. The D- Backs got swept at home by the Astros to finish the season and now are on the verge of knocking off the mighty Dodgers.

As for those Astros, they were an abysmal 39-42 at home this season, and yet they were 51-30 on the road. It doesn't make sense, but it gives me hope that they can win the next two on the road in Minnesota.

With all due respect, people in Houston may be the only ones in America rooting for the Astros to win AGAIN this year. Really hoping the Twins and Phillies figure out a way. That would be a fun World Series.

To be fair, if the CF doesn't get an incredible jump on the ball, or it's hit an inch farther, it carroms off the wall and Harper scores the tying run from 1st base. The Phils blew that game much earlier when they left runners on base all night long, but they have two games at home in front of a rabid crowd and are still in good shape.

Dusty Wathan is probably not particularly popular in Philly right now. Those are two really, really good teams. ATL was just sleepwalking (not really — the pitching was spectacular) before that seemingly accidental first run coming from the Turner error.

What hurts for PHI is that they were in total control until the sixth. These are the two best teams in the NL, maybe in baseball.

LA has managed with a duct taped pitching staff all season and it’s finally fallen apart on them.

Well, sorry my friend. Astros to the ALCS for the seventh straight season. It's likely that few people outside of Texas will care, but the series with the Rangers should be a good one.

All MLB clubs should aspire to cheat at this level.
The trashcan banging was six years ago. Only three players from that team are still on the roster now. Cheating jokes are as flat as Bob Costas on the play-by-play.

Justin Verlander can still f-ing bring it.

It’s a shame that the series couldn’t have been played in the Metrodome. It would have been interesting to see the trashcan bangers compete with the legendary Homerdome Air Conditioning.

And if only the Astros' stadium were still called Enron Field, it would be the perfect place for that team of fraudsters!

You guys, baseball is so much better with a pitch clock. What a battle, Kimbrel-Acuña, and no ‘ooooooooooh’ stepoffs or timeouts. Get in and whack it. Yeah, that’s what I wrote.

He whacked it to the warning track. It's a game of inches. Congrats to the Phillies. The top five teams by number of regular season wins are now gone. Time for the underdogs to play for the championship. ⚾😈

The Phillies are just smart enough to understand that the postseason matters more than getting a few extra wins against the Nationals. At least the Cobb County Braves have all those Division pennants to hang in their stadium.

It’s all luck, and sterling pitching from Ranger Suarez and a weeklong layoff from playing competitive games.

The ‘solution’ to this ‘problem’ is to contract the playoffs so that the layoff isn’t there.

Eventually, we’ll get to a point instead where the top two seeds get a 2-0 edge in a five game series over the 7 and 8 teams — the bottom seeds will need a road sweep to advance.

The Braves and Dodgers are great teams.

Yeah... I'm really torn on this. On the one hand, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Braves get knocked out. On the other hand, it kind of sucks to see a team that was so clearly the class of the regular season (and finished 13 games ahead of the Phillies in the standings) get knocked out in a best of 5 series. Why go through all those grueling summer months??
