FBI agents removed 11 sets of classified documents — including some marked top secret and meant to be available only in special government facilities — from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Monday.

In addition, agents recovered four sets of top secret documents, three sets of secret documents and three sets of confidential documents, according to the newly public information.

These are violations of the Espionage Act, which outlaws the unauthorized retention of national security information that could harm the United States or aid a foreign adversary; a federal law that makes it a crime to destroy or conceal a document in order to obstruct a government investigation; and another statute associated with unlawful removal of government materials.

Big question now is why did he take these documents with him and what was his plan on how they were going to be used?

Possible stage 4 TDS.

Let them run with. If I was going to develop a plan to destroy their party and convince Trump to definitely run and win. It would be hard to out-do what they came up with. Brilliant!!!!

He was served a subpoena for those documents. He didn’t turn them over. So they seized them. Most were classified and considered top class. Some of those documents contained sensitive nuclear information . That’s illegal. So go ahead and defend him. Republican senators and congress are starting to back away from this subject now. They know how illegal and wrong this is.

Documents were secure. He had them properly stored and locked as per FBI instructions. Substitute Democrat for your last sentence and it will be correct..

He wasn’t supposed to have them in the first place lol! That’s why they seized them? Do you really think anyone is allowed to take this country’s most sensitive nuclear secrets with them to a resort?
He broke the law!

Yes, him being POTUS can/did take his work home with him to work on. POTUS has the right to declare files to be declassified when he deemed necessary, so there is always that to consider..

Nuclear Secrets found in Trump's safe. Russia was willing to pay trillions to secure them.

Incorrect. They recovered a whole bunch of declassified materials.

Lmao. Spot on. A timetable of the board libtards

They will try the same **** with DeSantis. Probably worse because he will not tolerate their ********. At this point it's not even about defending Trump as it is fighting back against these tyrannical nutjobs.

All political appointees. Fired day one. Anyone not following lawful orders. You're fired too. Trump actually let them get away with stuff that will not be tolerated this time. They are terrified he learned some hard lessons. Either way DeSantis isn't going to put up with it.

You guys are missing the ambiguous way they’re referring to these as “nuclear” documents. It’s could’ve been the state of the Iran nuclear program and Trump was going to use them in his run. October surprise type of deal.

Also what Hunter or Hillary gave to China. But you're probably correct. Who gives a hard copy of our nuclear documents to the President? Never seen that done and would be suspicious of anyone doing so. He gets briefs that are an overview at 30,000 ft. So if true and not saying it is. It would most likely be information on what the bad guys are up to.

If Trump hadn’t stolen those documents, how in the world would he be able to sell them to the Russians and Chinese? There was no other reason for him to take them. It’s not like he ever read them when he was president.

Mar-A-lago may be a resort to you but is home to Trump. POTUS has top secret clearance and the right to decertify those certified documents at his own will. These are the same type docs that Hillbag had on her server that was being hacked and the FBI refused to look into her affairs.. Open your eyes and go back to sleep ...

Yeah I’m sure that was it. He’s no longer president, those documents didn’t belong to him no matter what they were. He committed espionage. He committed treason against United States of America. Go ahead and defend them you piece of ****

@TarHeelEer

I’m gonna go ahead and say this is Cunty and his new handle due to the unhinged nature of his MSNBC infused rantings.

This is going absolutely nowhere. I’ll be focusing everyone I know and can influence on the record inflation, rampant crime waves plaguing the US, high gas prices, and border crisis.
