While I agree that that's the case now, note that in the past it was the Right that was humorless. These things go in cycles. The pendulum will shift back eventually.

I don't know what you mean. I didn't even click that link before posting so I don't know who that guy is. I'm just saying that it used to be the Right that were more puritanical and humorless and now it's the Left but the Right can't count on making hay on that forever because it'll eventually shift back.

Yeah but that doesn't necessarily translate to elections. Even when the Right was obnoxious and puritanical with their Moral Majority stuff back in the day they still won three straight POTUS elections.

Not alway the sharpest bunch, but did understand you couldn’t win elections based on free healthcare for illegal aliens, abolishing border patrol (ICE), open borders, openly rooting for recessions, etc. etc.
