Second game I watched this year. And 2nd in a very long time. Was a lot of fun considering I'm not a huge bb fan.

Hoiberg has to be ******* proud of his team and his son.

I wasn't going to watch because with Husker BBall it's "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

But they WON! Good win!!

There is no reason why they can't host game 1 in the NIT. Don't need to be over 500 to do so. These kids have earned the right to play in some sort of postseason tourney

anyone else find it both interesting and telling that Griesel "upgraded" from the summit league to the B1G and none of his averages have changed one bit?

says a lot about the level of play in the conference that leads all others in tourney bids over the last 5 years

this is no slight on Griesel who should've been playing for us all along

Scored some last second tix and ended up in section 111 right in front of Raiola’s box. There were more people looking backwards than at the game half the time! I agree, that was just a gritty workmanlike performance. Sucked that Keita is back in a boot.

I remember earlier in the season a lot on here couldn't understand why greisel was starting, why Japanese steph curry was on the floor, and why they even allowed Sam to be on the team šŸ¤”

Their efforts and energy has transformed this team

Who said that about Griesel? He was one of the few bright spots early in the season, and I don’t remember anyone questioning why he was on the team.

Strikes me as as Johnny SuperFan, I had faith in this team all along post, on which I’m calling ********.

Be my guest. Plenty of people doubted Tominaga, and I was definitely one of them. But he’s thrived now that NU is actually running an offense instead of just standing around and hoisting threes, and he deserves credit for that. When it comes to Griesel, most people only questioned why it took four years to get him.

A guy that big, better fly first class or have an aisle seat. That would suck in those seats for 20 plus hours.
Thought that too. I'm 6'2" and it's exit row or business only on international flights

I don't follow hoops as close as football. Hoiberg is listed at Huskers dot com as 6 feet tall. Really? From watching the game today I would have guessed 5'9" max. The guy plays like a freaking bulldog, never gives up.

Airplanes getting smaller so they can get more money out of you to upgrade. I'm only 6'0 but when I flew over 20 hours to Thailand I was hurting. Can't imagine being 6'4 and taller.

My son and daughter in law went to Greece for their honeymoon. He's 6'7 or 8 (quit measuring) and 250. That flight s were brutal

So, I coached HS FB for a long time, one of the best/funniest things I saw was a thing of the bulletin board...

"Be sure to fill out your information for the program. DO NOT LIE ABOUT YOUR HEIGHT AND WEIGHT!"

Hahaha

Today’s Nebraska win and creightons loss is double sweet
I know Fox pays him to puff up the Big East, but LaVall Jordan just picked Creighton as his dark horse to reach the Final Four.

Not sure WTF he’s been watching that would lead to that conclusion. Jays are too soft of a road team to even make it through the first weekend.

Right now the Jays are going to be the popular pick to lose in the first round.

Had there not been expectations (Which Jays fans hate) this would just be a typical lame Jay season...but this season has been a huge failure.

Jays have no bench to speak of and they rarely get all 5 starters to show up. Kaluma completely vanished against Marquette, in the biggest game of the season. Today he played well but the guards decided to take the day off. That works against poor-to-mediocre competition but not against good teams.

They suck, they are going to get a seed they don't deserve because they cracked the code of march madness which rewards you for playing "good" teams and losing.

I don't remember what game it was, but I watched the Jay's on TV sometime around mid January. Not impressed

Be nice to finish regular season with 2 more wins then do some serious damage at tourney and let the chips fall where they may
